I’m at the point where I am far more excited for more in the Dune universe than I am for more Star Wars. I did not know what Dune was until the 2021 movie came out, but I’ve watched Star Wars since I was a kid renting a VHS from the library to watch.

It's absolutely amazing. You would think having spent so long working alongside Lucas and Spielberg as a producer for some of the biggest block buster hits of all time; E.T. The Extra Terrestrial, Indiana Jones, Back to the Future, Jurassic Park, Schindler's List, Twister, The Sixth Sense, and even War of the Worlds, just to name more than a few... You would think she would have picked up a thing or two. I guess Spielberg was right. I quote: "She was horrible at taking notes."

- Quit making movies/shows
- Ignore all the crap they made and hire someone who actually knows how to make a god story and don't ruin it
- Sell the rights. Almost anyone could do something better with the franchise, the bar is really low now and with every release people care less about that IP.
- Or do any of the previous options or anything else. They messed up so badly, people's expectations are so low, that an average movie/show would be a win at this point.

I'm curious to see what the opinion of the latest tribology is in 20 to 30 years. I remember HATING the prequals overall, but over time my opinion has shifted. Not a fan of Kennedy AT ALL, can't wait till she leaves, but I'll name 3. The Mandalorian, Andor, Ahsoka.
