How can something so good end after three seasons. This show was entertainment at its best. The acting and chemistry of BLH and RW will be remembered always!
@@susivarga7303I’ve seen snippets of that movie; BLH is almost convincing as the husband - complete 180. I’d just as well prefer to remember him as Xander Colbourne.
@@karenshurley4793 that role was not exactly written for him and he and his wife just could not handle each other on screen, like at all. Maybe they love each other too much to play that abusive relationship energy well.
@@susivarga7303 I know; it was jarring to watch BLH go from Alexander Colbourne with all of his gentleness and big heart to the narcissistic character he played.
I have enjoyed watching the Charlotte and Alexander's story unfold. A fantastic production on all accounts! Amazing writing, acting, costume and set design and the beautiful music added to every scene!
Sincere congratulations for bringing this Austen story to life. I think even Jane would have approved of it. Honestly, I thought it was a bit off the Austen track in S1 but S2-3 writings corrected it and it ended with true Austen hero and heroine happiness. It ranks right up there with the best of Austen's adaptions. Thank you so much for all you did to make this happen!
Thanks for bringing back Sanditon. It's good to see how Charlotte has grown and found the man she truly can love. In addition to the cast of brilliant characters that didn't disappoint.
Just wanted to express my gratitude for the two incredible seasons! I have enjoyed numerous period television programs, but Sanditon will always be at the top of my list. Thank you!
what a wonderful journey you offered us! the costumes, the places and the characters!! special mention to Rose And Ben, such a bright chemistry that I never seen before in others rom-coms, they deserve to have a great career! I wish we had have more scenes after the cliff kiss and before the wedding (announcement to Leo and Augusta and to her family too, preparating...), and how Charlotte manage her career with family's life with Alexander, Leo and Augusta
My heart is still so full. Colbourne was the ultimate Austen-inspired hero. This show has set the standard so high for period romance/dramas. Writing, production, costumes, everything was amazing in s2 and s3. Love love love this show. Thank you BLH and RW for giving us these two amazing characters.
I'm so sad this series has come to an end. I'm glad Charlotte and the major characters found love and happiness, though. I hope PBS runs the series often in the future. ❤
The best love story with the best chemistry I have ever seen. These two deserve to come back to show us that the happily ever after keeps going when you have a love like that. We need more of the Heyrick Park gang!
I'm completly satisfied with the ending of the serie. Not just becasue Charlote and Alexander but also because Sam and Lady Susan. I loved this couple. When I was watching their scenes, I saw my self cheering up for them. Thanks PBS for producing and bringing to life this Jane Austen story a proper ending. Specail thank to Rose Wlliams for being an amazing Austen' heroine. hugs form BRAZIL.;)
Thank you! Season 2 and 3 made it possible for me to rewatch the first season and not feel bad about the awkward ending. It became a story of finding true love - and a better match - after the first heartbreak. I hope Rose W and Ben HL have a bright career ahead of them. Also, maybe, one day, a movie? About Augusta finding love? A girl can dream...
LOVED this series, SO SAD that it’s OVER! 😭 It was absolutely delicious and suspenseful and exciting and there was laughter and tears and plenty of “will they or won’t they” tension and gorgeous scenery and costumes and everything one could dream of in one of the most perfect series ever! Oh, how I wish we could have MORE Sanditon: what about Augusta, what happened to her? Did Sir Edward ever truly reform? And Sam and Lady Susan, did they ever marry? And Dr. Fuchs and Beatrice Hankins? Do they ever finally get to know happiness? Ah, to have a Sanditon movie, maybe…I would love that!
Thank you so much to the production team and the fabulous actors for bringing this to life. Season 1 was fantastic and I enjoyed every minute of it but Season 2 & 3 was just a MASTERPIECE. The script was magnificent and the moments of silent where every emotion seeped and seethed through their pores was just so ever poignant. Charlotte and Alexandre said “I love you” to each other so many times without even actually uttering the words. Jane Austen would be proud. It’s with great nostalgia I say goodbye to Sanditon (still will be watching on repeat) but that being said I believe there is still material for more story telling like 10 years later, the focus being more on Leo, the Parker children, and other new faces… it would be unheard of in Jane Austen world but a girl can dream ❤❤ 🥂🍾.
Congratulations cast and crew on a beautiful production! I am so happy for Charlotte and Alexander! I loved all of their scenes together. I would love to see Rose Williams and Ben Lloyd Hughes star in another film together. I suggest a romantic comedy!
It was perfect! Thanks to the whole team for giving us not only a source of entertainment. Sanditon gave us friends, insights for life, and for me, even an English upgrade. Sanditon will be a serie I'll never forget, a time on my life I'll cherish forever.
Can't believe the show has ended. I loved how Charlotte got to marry the man who loves her for who she is and so did Georgiana. I just hoped another season would be there.
Many of the fans would love some more. There are so many stories still to tell. There is a group working to that goal. #BeyondSanditon please sign there petition if you would like that too.
Thank you SO much to everyone involved for this amazing gift of a show! I dearly hope to see much more of BLH, Rose Williams, Jack Fox, Jyuddah Jaymes, Crystal Clarke, Eloise Webb, Flora Mitchell and so many other fantastic actors in even more roles, though I don’t know if any will be as iconic as what we got in the love letter of Sanditon ❤️
Thanks to all the cast, directors, costume designers, decorators and everyone involved for this great TV show♥️You have created a beautiful love story that will be reviewed for many years👏Ben and Rose love you🤗
Thanks for providing all the "happily ever afters" in the final episode of one of the best Masterpiece PBS series presented. It came at a time when I, personally, needed an uplift for my heart and soul!!
Charlotte and Xander's love story was absolutely wonderful! Thank you for bringing Sanditon back to us, even when all the odds were stacked against it! What an amazing show and tribute to Jane Austen! 💙 Ubiq 💙
God, they're so beautiful- not because they're perfect, but because all their flaws, all their wrong yesterdays, make them relatably human. I'm going to miss sanditon so much 😭
Aww, you don’t need to be a Jane Austen fan to appreciate such an amazing period drama. Thank you PBS, production and all the cast members especially Ben and Rose for bringing us this beautiful love story. I’m truly sad it’s over. ❤
It's incredible to see Charlotte come into her own throughout this series. Sydney was such a toxic first love when you compare it to Colbourne. Their relationship is grounded in mutual respect and affection, and I love them for it.
Don't forget Sydney was branded negatively by Eliza Campion. Charlotte helped him heal by her being sincerely an innocent naive personality and he began believing in love and humanity in a woman again as well as trusting Charlotte (I don't think he ever trusted Campion even though he finally ended up having to marry that louse). But that marriage was merely to keep his brother out of debtor's prison (which is what happened to those who owed and couldn't pay back then - not to insult your intelligence). And possibly to restore his family's honor - though Sydney was not the type to have a care for what others believed. He did however have a high regard for his sister in law (was her name not Mary?). At any rate, had it not been for his brother Tom mucking it up due to financial problems in the first place, he would never have married Campion. I think he and Charlotte would have been very happy. But........
@@junewilson1629 I felt in S1 that immature (at that time) Charlotte was totally wrong for sarcastic Sidney. I was relieved when he married the other woman, the right choice IMO.
