- I got this from a Nirvana bootleg box set entitled: Nirvana The Chosen Rejects-Home Demos.

Kurt used a 4-track to record this to blend the drumming of suitcases, bassline, and vocals. He did all of this and combined it into one tape. This is a legitimate recording! This was recorded around '87-'88 era. In the film Kurt & Courtney, Nick Broomfield interviews Kurt's Aunt Mary, she says Kurt used to borrow her recording gear to record himself drumming on suitcases.
*THIS IS NOT BAMBI SLAUGHTER! Bambi Slaughter is featured on the Fecal Matter demo tape. "Creation" is on a separate home recording!

Kurt's aunt talks about this song in the documentary "Kurt and Courtney". She says that Kurt played drums in a suitcase and she proposed to him to record synthetic drums (she also was a musician), which he refused, saying he wanted his music to remain pure and organic. That's Kurt!
She was talking about his Organized Confusion tape which is not this, that tape had distorted guitar and bass, suitcase drums, low growls and bloodcurdling screams. I hope we get it one day

@MrQuijaRICK It’s not confirmed, but after the session his aunt found a lyric sheet for the song. So it’s highly likely, but his aunt never paid attention to the lyrics to see.

so this was made with bass and a suitcase as a drum set! That is awesome. He creates catchy melodies naturally it is definitely a gift.

This is so good I really hate the fact that he left too soon , every time I hear anything of Kurt Cobain that I haven’t heard it’s always a masterpiece
You can tell in his demos before bleach that he doesn't know any of the basics of music, and he still makes everything work, everything is fresh and dark themed, he takes a very peculiar aproach to music, of course this didn't last long

Holy shit I remember this. But it was from one of Outcesticide bootlegs. If any of you know what those were. Amazing as a kid in the mid 90's to hear "new" Nirvana songs. There was no UA-cam. You found them at flea markets

@@cheeseiscool2936 My older Brother showed me the first Outcesticide after a party in his basement. I was blown away. We had been pretty much been separated our whole lives except for a few times. so getting to hang out with him and his college friends after a Marilyn Manson concert was pretty amazing. Anyway, he let me borrow it and unfortunately I never had the chance to give it back.
Just took some bins out of storage and I came across all of my old Nirvana bootlegs, including the Outcesticide albums. The owner of a small record shop near where I lived would let me order bootlegs out of this huge catalogue. Brings back some great memories.
I put this on replay for 2 hours. It's so good.

No he didn't have a message he would put words into phrases and make a tune out of those words to make a song and a lot of the times his lyrics didn't make sense

Everyone has their own interpretation... but mysoganistic can mean anger or hurt towards women and expressing that in a way that could hurt the other woman not physically but to where she recognizes the beauty of the lyrics knowing they are towards her and feeling regret or sorrow for what she did to him.. so it's a little mysoganistic but in a poetic and subliminal way.. besides kurt claims to not have wrote in hisn own perspective but by his past experiences and painting a story around it

Exactly. A lot of the nirvana tracks have been released under multiple names on various bootlegs, in order to ensure the sale of the albums. Some people have listed these under various names on youtube for something as erronious as extra views. Not saying this is the intention in this case, but lets be honest: Bootleggers don't record performances because they are fans of the music.

This one is a gem that I forget about. Maiden Circle or Don't want it all or Misery loves company whatever bootlegger you believe was great, the sleepy Sappy version. Clean up before she comes. This one just soars very quietly , if that makes sense.
