    All B vitamins play a critical role in nerve repair, not just B1, B12, but also B2, B3, B6, B9, B5. Always have B vitamins in activated form and as a complex to avoid imbalances in other Bs.

    I'm 61 and recently suffered from a Shingles outbreak across the left side of my chest. I contracted COVID just prior to the outbreak which I suspect wore down my immune system. The Shingles virus travels through a peripheral nerve and does severe nerve damage. While the initial skin rash is painful, the latent nerve damage (neuropathy)is much worse. These supplements have really helped speed up the nerve-healing process. In addition, I was taking R-Alpha Lipoic Acid. Do a little research on that supplement. If you have a Shingles outbreak cover the affected area with Aloe Vera gel during the blistering stage, once the blisters disappear switch to Coconut oil. That will provide you with major relief and help the skin rash heal.

    I really appreciate that you put the rdas for the vitamin Ks. It would be great if you would put the rdas for any vitamins that you talk about. The one thing that I size a shortcoming was talking about B12 and calling it a cobalamin and not distinguishing between methylcobalamin and cyano cobalamin with the method version being the more bioavailable form. Thank you for your very informative UA-cam videos!

    I recently was diagnosed with Graves Disease, I keep hearing about weight gain but I lost a significant amount of weight. I'm taking Methimazole 5mg, I take one tablet and starting to feel better except the chronic exhaustion.

    Many thanks for all the information on what vitamins to take for nerve damage. I have suffered big time the last few month of
    nerve damage in my back so bad I’m on Lyrica 150mg every 12 hours. Just suddenly it happened, Massage does help at times.

    Guillian barre survivor...3 years later neuropathy still lingers. Idk why because the Dr told me my nerves will grow back in 1 year

      Hey. I take L-Carnitine to help regenerate my nerve damage from being damaged 2 times from 2 surgeries. It takes a long time to regenerate and repair damaged nerves, the more damage that was done the longer it takes. Nerves don’t heal as fast as other injuries or stuff, it’s one that needs time and the right support to help your body start repairing it and easing the pain. My 2nd surgery that caused more nerve damage than the first time I still have part of the nerve damage almost 6-1/2 years later after the surgery, the L-Carnitine I take daily 2x a day and it’s helping to ease my nerve pain and gradually heal the damage done to them. It’s not for everyone, it depends on if it helps ease you or makes you hurt worse, depending on if the nerves are being pushed on continuously and not relieved or whatever reason it doesn’t work. I take the 500mg tablets at 2 tablets totaling 1,000mg twice a day, Walmart is one of the stores that has it.
      I hope this helps. You can contact me in a comment if you want and I’ll respond if I see a notification of it. I say try it, anyone who’s reading this may want to try it too if you’re struggling with nerve pain and damage, take it slow and just one tablet a day to see how it’s going and feels and go from there. It’s natural supplement too, so it’s not a dangerous med/pill to take unless you think it may be based on researching it and seeing your health issues with the supplement. But overall, it’s natural and good, it works wonders for me daily since 2012.

      Hi there so sad to read about your story try having tumeric milk and ginger milk every before bed 1tsp tumeric powder with 1tsp pure honey a dash of black pepper 2tsp olive oil half TSP ginger powder or pure ginger ground in a glass of hot milk every night and just don't eat bread cut down on white flour products eat lots of okra and have lots of jelly or anything made with gelatine it helps heal the joints I have tried all this it helps me eat lots of spinach or green smoothie follow the advice in this video it's a long healing process but you can heal yourself

    I wish that you gave better insights about B1 vitamin as there are two forms : one is water soluble and Benfotiamine fat soluble and what are their function in the body??
