    I have a question, please? Why are my pigments running when I top coat or base coat?

    • @thecurebykalisa
      @thecurebykalisa  28 днів тому +1

      Hey there! You want to make sure you're blowing off any loose dust, and then you can lightly dust with a dust brush for good measure. Make sure you're floating the polish on, and not really dragging it on, of that makes sense. Use a light hand. I also noticed, pigments like most top coats better than base coat. I hope that helps! 🩷

    So should you only cure half of the full cure time of the particular brand of polish to put in the pigments or a full cure indicated by the brand of polish?

    • @thecurebykalisa
      @thecurebykalisa  Місяць тому +1

      I always do a half cure, which is typically 30 seconds (depending on the brand and your lamp.) I suggest doing a test nail...try curing for 60 and 30, and see which works best. It's going to be based on how much tack is left, after curing 🩷 thank you so much for watching, and keep me posted!

      @@thecurebykalisa I'm using apres. Thank you I definitely will. I tried something like this with eyeshadow, but because it's not as pigmented you have to do like 4 to 5 thin layers of top coat and curing in between to get a deeper shade.
