Hell yeah dude. I have an 070r and I’m painfully awaiting an 060r build. Unfortunately, they don’t provide as many progress pics as they used to, so Im still waiting for my first, but they made me a lifetime fan with the one I got. It’s flawless. Exactly what I want in a guitar.
Dude, I can completely relate. These guitars are incomparable I feel bad that my other guitars aren't getting enough TLC lol. But yeah I hear you, the wait is definitely the hardest part. Your 060R is gonna be amazing, especially that you're pairing it with a 7, which gives you the best of both worlds!
There is no point in progress pics..they are made inside the same mold using the same material consistency eveytime...the guitar ll be flawless everytime and the only thing that might be somewhat of an eye candy would be the paintjob progress...you know what you are getting....a light indestructible guitar that ll play great and stay in tune at all times.
I’ve been thinking about one and already had specs in mind. Happened to type the model into UA-cam and yours is almost identical to what I want 😂 looks great!!
brooo! sick build. I have a 060r in seafoam being shipped out this friday! Pretty much have the same specs as you besides the color! Lilac is on my top 5 colors.
Nice video. I am waiting on a headless with a custom finish that I ordered in January. Haven't gotten any updates yet, but I wasn't expecting it. I agree with you on the customer service. Every time that I reached back out to them, I got a very pleasant answer. Hopefully, by next summer......? lol.
Oh man, custom finishes take the longest lol but they look awesome when done. It's the price we pay for a custom of a custom. I'll do a video on custom finishes and stuff soon too...once I get mine lol.
Well, I'm sold. Thanks for the video, it only solidified my decision. Sucks the customs fees hit you so hard, I'm worried about the same thing. Fellow Canadian but living in Asia so it's kind of the opposite direction. How do you like the thinness of your 070R? Just another note about your channel- you've got in on lock my man. Camera quality is amazing, studio setup and lighting is crazy, video editing is in depth and clean. Crazy how you only have 144 subs. Good luck on the journey and looking forward to seeing more from you.
Honestly at first, I was like scared I'd snap the guitar because it's got an amazingly thin profile but because of material it's made from, this thing can withstand practically anything (tried and tested when I flew from Vancouver to Dubai with like 3 layovers, hardcase was practically damaged but the guitar was perfectly in tune lol). From a playability perspective the thin profile is perfect for me. Also, massive fan of your channel! I aspire to play like you. And thank you for the kind words re: my channel. Really trying to make more content to get more subscribers to grow it to where I want it to be. Hopefully in due time. Much respect dude.
I've always had a silly question about Aristides. Especially the Raw models. Considering the Arium bodies are molded and made with are already the color they'll be finished with, I presume the Raw "finishes" don't wear and get shiny like a matte finish would on a standard guitar. But I'm still curious 🤔
No such thing as a silly question, that's actually a really good one. So, the short answer is not really. From my experience, I haven't had that happen to any of my guitars. Other people have told me that they do get a touch shiny depending on things like whether you sweat a lot, etc. But as far as I'm concerned it's been consistent throughout. Hope that helps!
Really nice video and I can 100% confirm what you said about Aristides :) My 060r lefty in dark teal was just sent out today, so only a few more days until I can finally play it
6 months and 11 days, that's nothing. It took almost 2 years for me to get my Ormsby. It got to the point where I was wondering if I was even going to get the guitar. Don't get me wrong I love my new Ormsby but the title of this vid I was expecting something much, much longer than just over 6 months. I may have to pull the trigger on one of these. Plus, it's good to know how much the care about the individual customer builds. Not many builders do that. Great information and thank you!
Thanks man! You must have an unprecedented patience tolerance to wait for two years! Ormsby make amazing guitars I've heard and I'm glad you have it now after such a long wait. Honestly, you can't go wrong with an Aristides and the customer service is definitely next level. Some guitars do take longer than others, especially if you're getting a painted guitar. I ordered a H/08 about a year ago with a crazy paint job so that's definitely taking a longer time to get here. That being said, they've been super solid at keeping me up to date on that build.
Question from a fellow Canadian here (ON). I am currently saving up to buy my first Aristides (H/O or 060sr) and have heard that the customs fees can be an absolute killer. What kind of a $$$ buffer do I need on top of the purchase price to cover customs fees? BTW your 070r is stunning dude!
Dude, that's awesome! You can't go wrong with these guitars that's for sure. So, custom fees are pretty steep. I'd add on an extra $500 just in case (I think I paid around $450). Sucks, I know, but certainly worth it.
This might be an unfair statement... But the fretwork on my Ibanez Gio 7 string is custom shop level... The neck was cut, glued, and leveled to perfection. You can tell it had been done thousands of times before my neck was made. ...it's buttery smooth even without mirror-polished frets and has excellent playability... The neck has been made with (zero corrections throughout its production) and is just one of the thousands of stellar necks being made by Ibanez...
Hey man, it's an awesome guitar for sure. I'm going to be making a review of another one, an 060R if you're looking at getting a six string. So, for this guitar it was around $4k. I think prices have/are going up soon though. Honestly, totally worth it.
Why? Because it's not super unique looking? Plenty of boutique/custom companies do guitars that are the same model, hell Gibson and Fenders custom shops don't do much but established models. It's an amazing feeling guitar, def worth the money
Why wait though and pay extra if it looks like a stock/production model? Gibson and fender aren't know for making cool customs they're known for sticking to their traditional vintage styles guitars and that's what they market towards.@@jackbootshamangaming4541
Tbh for the amount of money they charge for their products they better be in constant communication and responding as fast as possible. It's a basic expectation IMO.

I love aristides so much
wow. Shipping updates too.

That looks spectacular, really nice taste of specs here

The seafoam finish is unreal dude! Congrats! Almost there.
❤❤❤
Nice video man. Glad you're loving the 070.
Thank you!
Still waiting on my H/07r. Customer service has been great.

Immediate like for that intro.

Dude! I think I saw the pics on AA! It looks so sick. Congrats dude!
I like it it is called professionalism 🔝👍

No man that's a totally fair statement. Ibanez makes some of the most amazing guitars!
how much did you pay when it came to Canada ? Just wanna know what to expect
This guitar has been on my mind for quite sometime now. Looks absolutely gorgeous.
What is the price on this?

@@faisalguitar is it 4k$ USD?
@@gauravlama2079 $4K CAD, which is around $3K USD
@@faisalguitar Ahhh I see. Thanks for the info man. Do make more videos on the guitar
And congratulations for your new axe 🎸

wow. That's 5 e-Mails. wow.
It is a beautiful looking guitar though.
How much did it come to price wise?
Let me know if you’d like to sell this for slightly more than you bought it for 😂 love the spec
For just a raw guitar I don't see how that's even worth the wait, I wouldn't even know it's a custom guitar by looking at it.
Thanks for your opinion, very helpful.

Did you preface or include in your email that you’re a UA-camr?
Nope. But that was simply because I wasn't one back then (and still don't feel like I am, lol).
Tbh for the amount of money they charge for their products they better be in constant communication and responding as fast as possible. It's a basic expectation IMO.
The answer is yes it worth the wait purely because outside of buying one used there’s literally nothing comparable to Aristides.
100%
I'd like to see all the "tone wood doesn't matter" guys put their money where their mouths are and support guitar makers like this.
Kiesel makes you feel like you are a nobody. Good to hear they care about customers.
with tones and mixes like that, you dont even need a good guitar! by that i mean, a kid with an sg could sound better than this
