Turkish Air Force getting F-16V will deffinetly benefit the PAF. If India doesnt plan additional Rafale procurement, Pakistan will have the upper hand in terms of fighter jet. Even if India gets F-35 Fighters, in response the US will offer F-16V to Pakistan the same way like Türkiye and Greece.

Correction Defence mantrix... latest Jf17 block 3 already has surpassed Mig29s and Mirage 2000s in Avionics , Radars and Missile range. J-10 C has many stolen tech from America and some experts says that J.10 is actually almost as good as block 70 F.16s. Now india doesnt have F.16s or jets of block 70 standards as yet. Raphael is somewhat close. For the rest of Indian Airforce fleet , jf17 block 3 and J-10 is more than a match .

Yes ! Their Mirage3-5, and F-7 is still similar like euro fighter typon and Su-35, which make up 50% of their air force, and the jf-17 Block 2 without HMD, 80km bvr, 105km range radar is still the best fighter in the world.
@@deltaandD7516 Raphael Is somewhat close to being a potent aircraft if flown by an expert pilot with good training and we all know what a good training Indian pilots have that they have successfully crashed 500 plus mig21s since 1960 and didn't even spare to crash the brand new C130s . Few su30s have already crashed. 3 years ago a mirage 2000 ran with a full speed on runway but never managed to fly but instead ended up hitting the ramp. Both pilots were dead even before flying off the ground. Half of the Tejas fleet never got Foc and only 40 made in 40 years lol.revently some brand new apache and rudhra crash landing were reported.good luck with flying Raphael to its fullest with the type of training your pilots have.

Opinion: If u keep quantity aside Hellenic air force is very ahead of us in terms of quality.....they have upgraded mirajes, Rafales, F16 block 72 which is superior than every fighter platform we operate except Rafale and now they r getting 40 F35s so it's a shame that having much better resources and a larger economy we can't match quality

Just like Greece can afford F-35...money is always available to most big nations...it's your priorities that define if you have a good military or an economy...If India wants we can completely overhaul and westurnise our systems by inducting Gripens, Rafales and F-35s....also multipliers and transport aircraft can be imported and all put together would be 80 Billion USD which if you consider current CAPEX of IAF can be repayed with Interest in 10 years....but that would effect the economy as we wasted that money in a way instead of developing these systems inhouse...it's like investing money for the future or spending it right now....the former gives you a safe future and the latter gives you a safe present.... Pakistan and Greece are doing the later and we and Turkey are doing the former....

Drones
Transport aircraft requires a big low bypass engine. Kaveri is not that type and cannot be converted in that.
Engine development ki infrastructure aur testing facilities identical hai. Materials bhi similar hai.
It is a stepping stone to civil aviation jet engine design.

Forget about our economy, concentrate on your air defence as it is of no match with our PAF. Regardless of upgradations, Pakistan Airforce always had superiority over IAF. JF 17 blocks, J 10 C and now FC 31, no way IAF can think of coming even near. Concentrate on your work.

It doesn't matter if Pakistan gets block 70 upgrades. We are working on our own program. Even if the engine issue causes delays, we will have other equipment ready at hand like the AESA radar and BVR's for example which we have made significant progress in. Couple that with Indigenous mission computers and we can make our own upgrades anytime we want!

There is no question about the superiority of US technology over Chinese and Russian technology. But when such superior technology is not available, it is better to have a large number of inferior technology weapons. India did the same in the past when it inducted Russian technology into its airforce in large numbers.
Major portion of paf f-16 are more than 40 years old with not much service life left , the question is whether paf would make block -70 upgrades to these more than 40 years old f-16 setting aside thier poor economic conditions.
More so these Turkish f-16 upgrades itself is puported to take place for more than 5 years.

Turkey even started working on the concept of 6th gen also us ,uk, france , china. Why our forces and planners always be like “ Let the world define then we will initiate”, we wait and see that happening and at the time we start working world takes next leap and always hesitate or prohibit us to deliver present tech
They have yet to build a 4th gen plane in the league of the F-16 and Mig-29.
They don't even have a 404 type engine of their own or a near equivalent like the Kaveri.
They make big claims (5th, 6th gen planes) but have yet to show anything of substance.

You will see Kaan flying soon. And you will see Türkiye's own engine installed on Kaan ,long before you see your own engine installed on any fighter.
This is not a bold claim. You will see in the coming months first engine run of Türkiye's 6k pounds engine , and next year it's after burner added version with 10k pounds force. It will be scaled up in dimensions to make 35k pounds force engine

As per one of your previous V-Logs (ua-cam.com/video/bDyDM1H5IY8/v-deo.html) comparing F-17 Block 70 with J-1o C, you have given your views on neck to neck in various capabilities but in the end, F-16 Block 70 is better overall. The cost of F-16 Block 70 is not less than USD 70 Million as compared to J-10 C USD 35 Million. The US will not offer a top-line weapon package to PAF and will not allow integration of Turkish or Chinese weapons with F-16 Block 70. So cost and weapon package may be the key factors for which PAF may not go for F1-6 block 70. Logically, It appears that PAF has already decided to say goodbye to F-16 before the induction of J-10 C

Aside from mig21 r73 jokes, if PAF F16s get blovk 70/72 upgrades, its gonna be problematic for IAF.
It's already problematic for IAF, Pakistan is inducting J-31s, replacing old Mirages and F-7s with 4.5th gen fighters i.e JF-17 Block III and J-10c.

Entire engine supply is dependent on US. They don't even have a Kaveri near equivalent making them even further behind India in this area.
Believe it or not. Türkiye will make its own engine with 35k pounds force in 6-7 years ready. You will see first run of 6k pounds turbofan jet engine in coming months ,and next year it's after burner added variant with 10k pounds force.
35k pounds engine is Being designed for several years.
Core technologies will be tested on 10k pounds engines and it will be scaled up for tf35k engine which will power Kaan fighter

I think #defense matrix is having a lack of knowledge if we would want to upgrades our existing f16 then we would have gone to straight to USA for upgrades as source code is only with the Boeing and upgrades would only be done with the permission of USA but we would replace them with JC-31 . The replacement of f16 would be with 5th generation fighter jet in near future and we have j-10c and jf-17 thunder block 3 as a 4.5++ generation jets. It's if you try to look at your own airforce conditions that its squad numbers are depleting gradually.
5th gen fighter plane claims are all bogus and PLAAF itself refuses to induct the Jf-17. The J-10C has engine problems and lots of it which is why China is retiring them early and transferring them to Pakistan.
The best plane Pakistan has is the F-16 though the depleted lifespan and ordnance availability is a problem.

Ordinance of f16 is not a problem for us we can ask for USA but we know that USA doesn't give anything for free .If j20 was for export then we would have gone for j20 but it's up to China whether they sell it or not. In near future operating we would be operating 5th generation fighter jets before you.

J-20 is an interceptor not a fighter. It's main role is to rush in and fire long range missiles at aerial refueling tankers & AWACS and get out asap before getting shot down.
All the stealth claims of China have yet to be tested.

Pakistan is inducting J-31s, Pakistan didn't say anything about upgrading or retiring it's F-16 fleet they only said soon in few years they will induct J-31s and more J-10Cs, JF-17 Block III. Yesterday Pakistan inducted a new AWACS totalling numbers to 11 AWACS in service giving 24/7 all around surveillance
Just 18 Block 70 F16s are not a big deal to counter. J31 is a bigger issue to counter if bought.

It is not possible bcz Pak would still be required US approval for it because US has shared some of F16's source code with turkiye thats why they for their upgradation program but pakistan bas no source codes.so its impossible.
It could be transferred with US backdoor agreement via Turkey.

Speculations, guessing and assumptions. You are assuming that Pakistan will go to turkey to upgrade its F16. Turkey cannot sell or rather re-sell any F16 equipment. Considering they got suspended from F-35 program and secured their block 70 upgrades with a lot of political manoeuvrings, selling anything to Pakistan can get them in to unwanted hot waters. SO I'd say your speculation or, I am sure you call it analysis is fairly baseless.
2nd thing, with Tata lockheed establishment, and probably assembling of block 70 assembling in India, Pakistan is even less interested in hedging its bets on sticking with lockheed equipment for long. I believe Pakistan will continue to replace any aged F16 with relevant J10C going forward. From defence perspective, what is better and what is not is subjective to quite an extent. Pakistan will not go for equipment which there is a likelihood that it can land in India's inventory eventually.
Final thing, PAF always does batch conversion, operational training of a sizeable batch before induction of any aircraft. They did that with F16, did same with Mirage, then JF17 and now did the same J10C as well. For the foreseeable future, some batches will continue to do J10 conversion and training in China with PLAAF. Unlike you might think, PAF did not one day woke up and bought 20 something J10C. Conversion, operational training of pilots had been going on for sometime in China. So strategically, PAF has picked a track n line for the future already.

By the time PAF (if it exists till then) get those packages and field them on their 40 yr old F16s - their competition wont be Mirage 2000 or Mig29 - it will be Tejas Mk1A primarily, full fleet and the Mirage 2000s and MiG29 would be taking usual potshots at those dysfunctional JF17s 😂😂😂.
Kaveri 2.0 will simply make the Tejas Mk1A unstoppable with 100% serviceability at all times , powering every bells and whistles up perfectly within the fighter jet. Maybe it will even get the super cruise ability to launch some SAAWs for the airfield with upgraded F16s and jhatka PAF completely.
