For me, Voice is firmly in the #1 spot. Miku is SERIOUS here. Like grabbing someone by their shirt lapels and singing in their face type of intensity! Love this woman.💪🏻🤘🏻
Miku’s favorite fruit is strawberry🍓 Miku’s stage name is “Kobato Miku”, and “Kobato” part is written as “小鳩” in Japanese/Kanji which means “Small Pigeon”🕊 In English, pigeons/doves cry voices are written as “coo”, however in Japanese, it is written as “kruppo” or “po-po”. Thus Miku says “po” or “kruppo” at the end of sentences. And “Cluppo” comes from the word “Kruppo”, as you might have guessed. BTW, In Japanese, doves and pigeons are not distinguished, and both are translated as “pigeons”.
Miku also referred to "strawberry milk" in "Peace and Love" - in an interview she claimed she could not use a lyric like that in a Band-Maid song because Saiki would be "furious." That might be an overstatement, but the image make me laugh... Saiki at band practice: "I'm not singing that line. Change it to something else. Something not sweet or fluffy!"
@@surfingasongwave I also read somewhere that, when Miku did not have enough time to write the whole lyrics for a song and filled it with lots of POs temporarily, Saiki got furious about it🕊
I guess that I and the others who suggesred these songs to you, knew that you would see so much in them. As you said they are a techno, pop, jazz, rock fusion. Beautfully arranged and brilliantly sung. I have a wide music taste but never heard anything quite like this in my life- I guess that makes the genre 'Cluppo' . If ever there was a role model for learning and trying different things, Miku is it- Working in a maid cafe to earn money for herself and family, founder of Band-Maid, writer of lyrics, learning to play the guitar in a fantastic band and now this. So much respect for this lady. These are the words of a 69 year old rock fan gushing, right now.
Well, Miku Kobato is a little pigeon (obviously)! 'Po'! or the full 'Kurrupo' is the noise a pigeon makes in Japanese (here in the UK it is 'Coo'). Miku literally makes pigeon noises when she speaks. Lots of 'Kurrupo's' and ends many of her sentences with 'Po'! Just take a listen to any of her interviews or when she talks onstage etc. She claims there is an 810 year old pigeon living in her head. Kobato can be translated in Japanese as 'little pigeon'. Miku's signature Zemaitis guitar is called the 'Flappy Pigeon'. Fun fact, when they were interviewing Saiki for the band the management made sure she did not meet Miku (Miku watched on camera). They thought Saiki would not take her seriously when she discovered she was a pigeon! (They didn't tell Saiki about the maid outfits until the day before their first gig either. Saiki said she was conned into the band)! There you go Po!"
@@GlassMoonGaming It's actually lovely to see just how close friends Miku and Saiki have become now. Btw, it was only a few months ago that Saiki found out why Miku wasn't at her audition and that she watched it on camera!
Nice reaction. I heard Miku talk about the lyrics of Superstar as somewhat a little embarrassing since she says it reflects so much of her true feelings. My interpretation of the chorus essentially says it's OK that I'm not a Superstar, I don't care no matter how many times I fall and fail, I don't care if I'm not cool (or look foolish). If you're a brown nosing bird, just fly away somewhere. Even if I cry, tomorrow will always come. Miku got trolled pretty brutally by some jerks in the early days and I think this song is a response to that and how she dealt with it. Love her inner strength and character to keep believing in herself and just staying true to herself.
If you liked these three songs, especially 'FUWAFUWA' (fluffy or soft), you should check out Ringo Sheena and her band Tokyo Jihen (Tokyo Incidents). Miku is a huge Ringo Sheena fan, and the influence seems pretty clear. I like Miku's vocal tone better though.
Excuse my language, but that heavy half-time rock hook on Voice is just straight-up orgasmic. When I first heard it, I couldn't believe all that power was coming out of our little pigeon! I wouldn't be mad if Band-Maid played Voice in their concert this October, I think it fits right in with their style.
I have to admit I wasn't expecting much from the rest of the EP besides the three already released tracks. How wrong I was! Those last three tracks are a real delight. And I often come back to that EP, even if at first I thought it would be one of those "one listen then put it away for ever" records.
Voice has such a haunting dreamlike feeling at the start...great song.. all of these three songs are probably the best in the EP although I really do enjoy Peace & Love as it just came out of the blue.....Nice reaction - thanks with lots of Peace and Respects from Canada NB: PO is the sound of a dove (Pigeon) and is the word Miku uses all the time at the end of her sentences....The girl who says PO!
Man, I hope Cluppo continues as well. I LOVE the whole EP. It's such a breath of fresh air, like a warm Spring breeze. And I, for one, would love to see Band-Maid cover a Cluppo tune or two (with one of those two being "voice"). It would be such a blast! Thanks GMG! 🕊
This EP is musically as colourful as the cover, and the elements that can be found in the songs are so different and positively crazy that they fit perfectly to Miku po. :) If you let her, this pigeon will fly as high and far as only a few have done before her. And I definitely enjoy watching/listening her do so. ☮+❤ _____________________ 【 _Pigeons will save the world._ 】- from cluppo / Miku Kobato 'Peace & Love' 🕊
Fuwafuwa is a straight traditional idol j-pop song. If you check out most traditional idol j-pop groups their songs will sound almost exactly like that one.
The Bass player on this is from a band called "SCOOBIE DO"...They have a old school funky groove feel...like from the 70's....been around since 95...I like'em..They have a happy fun sound...rather like MV's as well.
Being an April 1st release I would not be surprised that Kanami, MISA, and Akane had some input for this EP....... Otherwise why would the "musicians" be named Crow 1, Crow 2, Crow 3 etc. My conspiracy theory is that this is Band-Maid doing as Band-Maiko but in another guise.
These songs are so FUN and so DIFFERENT! AMAZING! Let me know your thoughts. Don't forget to Like and Subscribe!

Hatofull = Heartfull
Also “Hato Full” which means “Pigeon Full”
@@HaroMatsuRestarted Does it also means "awful hat" (ofullHat)? 😄

Shear F'n genius. This woman keeps on impressing what ever she does. The vocal delivery on Super Star alone is worthy of international fame.

I believe someone named select circle was one of the trolls if I am correct .He was rough for no reason towards Miku .
