And an average dispatch time less than 10 minutes. It's quite sad how most average dark rides have higher throughputs than what is nominally the park's star attraction. You can have all the trains in the world on it, but unless you figure out how to load the thing (and enforce the test seat at the entrance), more trains won't make a lick of difference. Just more people sitting in the sun and heat on the brake run.
I'm all for improvements, but I could probably think of something better to do than focusing the energy on a low-end, generally reviled coaster model. Also, why wasn't this done during the offseason?
@@amusementscape They operate that place as if the doors are locked immediately after the last guest leaves after Fright Fest and nobody comes back until someone notices the first cars entering the parking lot on opening day. In the mean time, the most prominent attraction visible from the parking lot will be sitting idle for who knows how long, and they'll once again fail to capitalize on a "new" attraction because there won't be enough season left to go. Rinse and repeat next year. Classic Six Flags. And then wonder why you're hemorrhaging cash at the next earnings call. At least this year they're not touting a small area of resurfaced pavement near the toll booth as a legitimate improvement. Hopefully this rot doesn't infest the Cedar Fair parks.
