As you can see by the title, this video is a first impression video of Mielle Organics Honey and Ginger Styling Gel. I have been a fan of eco styler gel since I have been natural but just recently it gave me flakes and chunks of white residue, so I decided to try other gels but of course I had to share the experience with you all.
Also before I applied the styling gel to my hair I had already sprayed my hair with aloe vera juice as my leave in conditioner and then locked that moisture in with olive oil,nothing too fancy.

Hey thanks for getting back sis and providing the necessary info. Would you be able to do a vid please on your staple products soon? Particularly shampoo and conditioner. Do you shampoo every time you wash, or mainly co-wash? Thanks for keeping it real with the vids.
Hey girl. Try flaxseed gel. It's all natural, cost efficient and it makes your curls pop!! It's about the same texture as the Miele one that you have her and it has awesome slip and no flaking. Oh and it makes your curls pop!

Your welcome girl. You can purchase flaxseeds at any grocery store or farmers market and then you boil them on the stove to get your gel. I'll be making a video soon but natural @naptural85 has a awesome new video up though.
Cesley Dantrice so its something I have to make...im fine with that and yea I follow her and i have seen her video in the past. there wont be any flaky residue will it?
I haven't experienced any flaking but the key to avoiding that though is to not to cake the product on your hair cause it causes buildup. You also don't want to use to many different products together. That can cause flaking as well.

Thanks for the review. Tried the ecostyler argan oil gel on naked hair & it dried my hair out so bad. 😡 It was only $7.00 so I'm not buggin' to much. I will try this gel by Mielle Organics since I have the leave in from the same line.
Coily crown I am SO glad I found you! I've been struggling with my very thick tightly coiled hair for YEARS now and I'm getting really fed up with it. Your hair is absolutely gorgeous. So as mine is very similar to yours, I just want to ask you two questions having gone through the comments. 1) you say you use Alioe Vera juice as your leave in. Now as I have extremely low porosity hair I've discovered that water is the only leave-in that my hair really likes and feels soft with, but the cuticles need to be closed afterwards with something like aloe Vera, so do you apply it to damp hair or after saturating your hair with water? And 2) have you always used oil in your regimen to seal in the moisture? After 6 years of being natural I still haven't worked out fully what works for me yet, so I've just been consistently going to the barbers and shaving my hair off 😫, but ain't nuttin gone stop dem coils shining through. 🙂 Look forward to hearing from you. Just wish there were a lot more Coily heads on YT. New subscriber, and will be going through all your vids. Thank you.
BeaunaturelleFeb11 hey & I agree, i wish there were more girls with coily/kinky hair on youtube as well but i apply aloe vera juice to my hair right after i get out the shower, i dont spray water on it....& yes i have always used oil, i have switched between oils to find the right one for me

Thx for sharing your experience! Your hair is absolutely stunning! Did you have any problems with dryness while using the Mielle gel? That is my main problem with most gels that I try.

Good review queen. Such pretty hair 😍 I was just in the cvs for about 20 mins going back and forth from deciding on this or the Camille Rose Curlmaker. I went with Camille Rose. The Mielle smells so good but I don’t think that glycerin as the second ingredient is gonna work for me

I just wanted to update you guys, about 2 to 3 days later I could tell that the gel could not hold my kinky/coily hair due to my prior assumption that its too thin of a consistency, it does smell great and have a great slip but as far as holding my curls in the long run.it was a fail

hey I have this gel and love it I get at least 4 days use out of it and I use very little cuz my hair is a fine texture, but I like the fro hawk I'm going to try this see how it looks on me😂😃 lovely video

Divine Youngins yea I do. my hair likes to hold on to cream products and i hate that white residue so i use a more liquid base (aloe vera juice) as a leave in. there are a lot of benefits from it

Enyatta Landreaux its very light weight and doesnt hold my curl pattern but it may work for women with hair that isnt as thick

No matter what I do with eco gel,it flakes
