- Hey y'all! I have another product comparison video for y'all! I hope that you're enjoying this "series" so far. Help me find a name for this series; comment below for ideas and Ill love you forever lol. Today I will be giving you my first impressions as well as a demo using both products side-by-side.

You are the only UA-camr I have seen that has the EXACT same hair texture as me, 3C everywhere else and 4A at the crown. I'm currently transitioning and am so excited for it to fully grow out. I sometimes use the TGIN gel with my two-strand twists and I like how it's thick yet has a light hold but I noticed that it doesn't hold up against humidity at all! Works great for slicking my hair up in a bun tho. So far, nothing compares to the original clear ECO Styler gel to make the curls last. (btw, that's also the best water bottle ever! I love how it mists the water)

Norman Miner lol! I'm about 8 months in. Two-strand twists seem to be the only style that blends the two textures together. I'm trying my best to hold out until it gets past that awkward length before I chop off the relaxed part. Right now it's all trial and error 😂

I love that you showed how they performed on both your 3c and 4a sections. For us 4a girls, buying 8oz -12oz products can be a waste because we have to use double or triple the amount for similar results. The Mielle gave you more definition, clumping and shine. The olive oil in TGIN might have caused the "soft" hold and weighing hair down. I would love to see comparisons of the 1. Mielle vs. Camille Rose deep conditioners 2. Mielle Peony leave-in vs. Camille Rose Fresh Curl, Alikay leave-in or Kinky Curly Knot Today or 3. Mielle Avocado Milk vs. Curls Creme Brûlée or Kurlee Belle Thirsty Kurls.

Miele better than Tgin. Tgin gets too fuzzy
The Mielle side definitely made your curls look better.
I was rooting for the TGIN because the consistency was similar to Eco Styler gel and Eco Styler is the only thing that gets my hair to clump in the front and last me a week with no refreshing.
Your hair is so bomb I don't think you could go wrong using either gel! I personally have been using the Mielle Organics gel for about 2 months now and agree the definition & hold lasts about a week for me! Loved this video keep them coming 😘 xox
I like the Mielle side best!! I tried the entire Mielle Organics line and I was allergic to it.. scalp, neck and ears were on fire! But my hair was beautiful. I was hoping that TGIN would yield the same results if not better. I wanted to purchase the TGIN line.

I have the TGIN product but have not used it yet. I used the Mielle Organics product but after the second day, my hair looked liked a dry mess. Underneath, I used a leave-in and sweet almond oil. I also got flakes with the Mielle product.

Shirese Louie definitely try with the leave in and milk or maybe just the milk. In my experience the avocado milk was great to pair withe the Mielle Organics
Shirese Louie me too! I was so excited, because I thought the Mielle would be a less expensive alternative to Camille Rose gel, but the gel cast never went away. I can usually get a week out of a WNG, and am able to scrunch out the crunch by day 2, but not with Mielle. I got frustrated with the feel of my hair by day 3, and cowashed it. FYI I used the peony leave in, avocado milk, and an oil under the gel 😩.
Yes. My WnGs usually last a week too. Camille Rose, Kinky Curly, and Mane Choice are my tops. I was hoping to add this but no.
Shirese Louie girl yes. I've had the dry problem with Mielle products. The deep conditioner did that to me. Could've held me by the ankles and used me to sweep the floor.
I liked the Mielle side the best. I liked the definition and it appeared to be more hydrated. I really enjoyed this video. Thank you for making it.
I just started making my own hair gel with flax seeds and adding aloe gel, black castro oil and jojoba oil but I'm always on the lookout for the perfect store bought hair gel.
Just subscribed! happy I found this video, I really liked it. Now I liked the Mielle side for sure. The tgin side had alot of frizz.
Great video. I think they both did a great job. For me it will depend on the look im going for that day, defined or volume. This review made me want to try one for sure.

I've been using Deva curl and I like it but I think I need more moisture. I'm definitely going to try the Mielle brand BTW your hair is always bomb!

Lifeislesha...I have the TGIN daily moisturizer, triple moisturizing conditioner and honey hair mask. I love them all super moisturizing. I hate Mielles protein conditioner and the gel makes my 3C curls turn to Ramen noodles before there cooked.

I love TGIN's Honey Mask (my hair loves honey), but didn't care as much for their gel. KinkyCurly's gel/custard had given me the best curl hold. However, I've been wanting to try Mielle's gel since it contains honey and after seeing this, I will! Thanks again!

I have 3c/4a also. I use Mielle. I got it because it had more natural stuff in it than TGIN. It also does not irritate my scalp like other gels...and it smells wonderful!

Mielle Organics is the best of the two brands compared. The TGIN was frizzy, still pretty though, but it probably will not last long. I liked the hold and definition your hair has from using the Mielle Organics brand.

Was the Mielle Gel sticky as it dried? I experienced a lot of sticky residue when I used the TGIN gel. It had no hold & took too long to dry, so I tossed it. Wish I had saw your video first. I would have tried it by itself to see if the results changed. This video made me wanna try the Honey Ginger gel! Thanks for the comparison videos, super helpful.

I like the Mielle organic side it look more defined and the tgin side looked a little frizzy at the top after you broke the gel cast. Loved the video.
Great video... mielle is my favorite gel, even on rainy, humid days I still have great definition with very little shrinkage.

absolutely love this video I have both and I like both sides the Mielle side has a nice medium hold vs the thin has fluffy no hold type of curl which you may get less days off curls with the Thin great video love your hair texture too just subbed 😁😃👍
Overall Muelle did the job. The other could be for a different look, more ethnic. The oil might've changed something. Wonder if T had a leave in or oil based spray to certain the stay of definition . Good video.

I've been recently looking for a gel..I really liked the mielle! one of my favorite products is the Shea moisture "coconut oil leave in treatment" and I recently noticed that Design Essential makes a very similar product named "Coconut milk leave in nourisher" Id love to see a video on a comparison of these two products!! xoxo

i just got the mielle gel for my type 4 hair i hope it works likes yours did i like the way the mielle looks on your hair vs the TGIN made frizz in your hair real fast and thats what i try to avoid frizzing after applying
Both sides are great. Depending on what type of wng your going for either gel would work. Personally I like the Mielle side best but if I wanted more volume and if I wanted more of a 2 day look from jump I would use the tgin. tfs.
mielle definitely. We both have the same textures and density in the same areas of our heads. I'm going to try this one. Haven't been a huge fan of TGIN's products though. A bit to heavy for me

The Mielle side looks good. But I have to say, you used 2 pumps for each strand with the Mielle side and not the T.G.I.N.

Tgin is way better for some reason my hair hates the shea moisture 10 in 1 conditioner. The shea moisture manuka honey conditioner my hair loves though

I used the mielle alone as you did, and i had no crunch at all...very defining...i'm debating if want to try the TGIN gel
Mielle is good but to me it doesn't leave my hair as moisturized as I want it to be yet it gives a beautiful curl to my hair ❤️ I used other curl products that doesn't leave my hair as dry after I use it as I go about my day .

I like the Miele side. More define and more body. But overall both looks really good.
I actually like the TGIN side better... I like bigger fluffier hair.... Can you compare Kinky Curly and Uncle Funky's gel.... I love them both

I like the Mielle side. We have similar hair even down to the location of your 4a. It always frustrates me when my 3c comes out perfectly and the 4a is bushy like the TGIN side. Because it ruins the style by grizzling out first. Do you know if how you trim it (4a) makes a difference in how it behaves?

Copolymer is a plastic like vinyl found in styling gels and it dries out the hair by coating the shaft in a film.

The Mielle side looks shinier and the one than holds best will always win so I like the Mielle side

BlueLily188 I have the Mielle gel and live in Alabama where the weather is humid, I have type "4a hair", I'm not really into hair typing, but it is a really good gel and my curls stayed defined for the whole week! I do the banding method and that worked well for preservation! If this helps any

love these comparison vids! Idk if you like to use butters in your hair... maybe a hair butter comparison video. I know ture by made beautiful has a butter and TGIN buttercream (creamy butters). or mane choice butter and qhemet biologics hydrate butter (those are thicker).
or hair mousses.... so many mousses out now. lol

Did you have a leave-in in your hair before you applied the gels? If so, which leave-in?
I appreciate you adding the ingredients to the description but it seems you missed a bunch on the tgin one (before olive oil). Just going by what you named in the video
I have the meille and feel its too watery for me even though we have similar hair. But on you the meille looks great even elongated more than the tgin.
I love mielle organigs my hair has gotten so soft using it... i mix it with as i am though but those progucts together make my hair super soft
