A smaller dish would give deeper layers. The smaller cooker looks as if it is perfect for a tabletop. Great idea, hope you get a lot of use from it.

I think for it to layer properly, you would need to chill it between each layer. So you couldn't heat it all at once. Ahh, you did realize that. Well, it probably tasted ok.
