Actually italy won WWI, even bravely, defeating a stronger enemy one every point. (austro-hungarian empire) but England, France and USA didn't gave it what it asked for in order to participate to war. (actual Croatia and Islands on Turkey shores in Egean sea).
This made italian mad, we use to call it "Vittoria mutilata"

Lore dev for Rise of Italia here. Since there seems to be much confusion over this mod, I need to clarify something. Our divergence point for the mod is 1889, meaning no otl WW1. The real two points for how the map is right now are 1. The Great European War (European countries intervening in the Italian Civil War of this timeline) and 2. The Crash of 1930 (causing political extremism and dissent against the status quo of the time)
