As I grow older I finally realize how important honesty is in a relationship. If you can't be honest with your partner then you will never have a true relationship. Norwell doesn't seem hurt by Coat's brutal truths, if anything it's reaffirming the knowledge he already possesses about his shortcomings which allows him to either strive to try harder or pivot into a new passion he might not have known he was destined for. nice to see couples communicating their feelings clearly and without judgement; if there were a couples therapist out in that barren wasteland, they'd be proud
I've suddenly entered a new realm of understanding. but I might contend that it is less that Jason resides in Florida and more that Florida resides underneath Jason.
It's been ages since I've checked this channel but, as a queer person who grew up watching Film Cow, I am delighted to see these two perfect husbands ❤️
I love the subtle detail of Norwell smiling a little when he’s asked where he’ll keep the bees- either for being humoured in his joke or for being supported to go elsewhere with his hobbies, The Coat brings him joy
See, THIS is why AI will never truly replace human artists. Because all the algorithms in the world could not POSSIBLY conceive of a premise like this. Thank God for all the strange and beautiful minds like Jason Steele's
Two of my favorite FilmCow characters back again. The chemistry of these two has a way of just getting you wrapped up in their shenanigans. Wrapped up like nice warm coat. A normal lifеless coat, one that you could wear. And not a coat brought to life by a witch curse that you can't wear because of the terms of the curse. That would be a hard life I'd imagine.
I'm not sure if it's on purpose. The whole time the Otter Wizard sounded like he was trying to hold in a bodily fluid of some sort. Untill the part when his husband brought up smoking again. The tone of voice, from the otter wizard, is now less timid. The need to relieve one's self has left their voice. The juxtaposition genuinely put a smile on my face. I hope there is more to come. :3 2:19
I'm so excited for this series! Norwell and Coat were my favorite Charlie Finale side characters, and I'm so glad they're going to get their own series now.
Absolutely wonderful short, well-paced. From domestic and feel-good to mystic to sinister and then growing existential horror in the span of 3 minutes.
I was actually just rewatching, and thoroughly loving and missing the Charlie the Unicorn finale. Fun seeing these two again. I hope our good boy Charlie is living his best life in peace. Thinking about getting tattoos of Charlie with the purple Charlie he runs into!
I really loved this and would enjoy seeing more of this. Ironically they do seem like really perfect spouses for eachother, and the existential dread, and dissociative vibes of the cartoon are enjoyable. I hope they stay safe and loved and have eachother and I hope things with the orb work out for them and that they figure out where they are. I feel emotional. I love the little wizard mink or fox thing and his brown coat husband. Beautiful and moving. Thank you. 😢❤
With how much more corporeal Norwell looks I assume they're both in equal existential limbo now as a result of what happened at the end of the Charlie The Unicorn movie. Also I love the lil laugh-stutter Norwille made when he talked about keeping bees in his mouth, sounded like you legit just made yourself laugh and decided to keep it in. The relationship between these two is as wholesome and down-to-earth in the ways that matter as it is odd and outlandish on a superficial level, and I love them for that.
I love the diction in your animations because it's just the right amount of out there and the delivery makes me lose it evey time. I have tears in my eyes from "Hmm... maybe you can't"
I like how the Coat is supportive but honest, he's willing to tell Norwell that the song isn't good but wants him to know that he will do better
