one thing to note about getting cure wounds prepped for free is that alot of the times you will want to use your bonus action to command your wildfire spirit, so having a heal on an action is quite nice
Two little tricks for the little flame 🔥 in the game. Don’t forget if you are incapacitated it can do what you like and does not pool until you die. So if you go down, it can move 30 feet to you and then flame you to behind an ally to get help from death saves or prevent your held body from being immediately beat on of at the least not be stepped on. And there is nothing stopping your friend from playing keep away by moving your body to less easily accessible locations. At level 6 you can cast the spell from your FLYING wildfire on your turn but the spell can be any spell or CANTRIP - like Thorn Whip. So yeah, that is more damage, and also possibly fall damage when you need it. Pull them off cliffs and down stairs. And then tell your flame friend to stick out their tongue and fly away.
You know what they should really do though?! they need to give the sorcerer a fey themed subclass I just knowww it would instantly be one of the most popular sorcerers in the game I know wild magic can be kinda flavored as a fey curse but it's really locked into that aspect of the fey
its funny they didn't give the wildfire druid 'fireball'. what an embarrassing oversight. it feels like wizards of the coast became the lazy people of the coast. im sure most DMs would let the wildfire druid get fireball; which is logical. (when in doubt, let common sense prevail). this oversight makes wizards look really bad ...
Fireball is nothing but uncontrolled destruction outside of limiting its incredibly large AOE. Everything flammable inside a fireball's area should be set ablaze. Wildfire druid is about the philosophy of how fire is necessary to bring about life. Their fire is targeted & controlled, burning only what is necessary. If the Sun Warriors from Avatar were druids, the closest philosophy to theirs would be the Wildfire druids.

Been wanted to do a fox humanoid wildfire druid for awhile now.
I'm sure you will be very warm
Elemental Adept is your friend with this subclass
Can you believe the Druid got a dedicated fire subclass but not the sorcerer?
The power of acorns compelled them
I imagine they didn't want one that's specifically for one element since they already have Draconic Bloodline

this is amazing keep up the good work
Thanks, I'll continue to do my best!
Thank you for coving wildfire druid, been trying to understand it for a couple days and it didn't click on my brain.
Hey no problem, glad it helped!
Can you cast spells through the spirit?
i.e. casting thunder wave from the spirit instead of yourself?
Natural fires are healthy for some types of forests.
Can you activate multiple Cauterizing Flames at the same time if for example, a huge dragon landed on multiple Spectral Flames at the same time?
Yess, more, MORE!
I'll see what I can do
I am still salty wildfire druid does not get fireball
Yeah it's a little unfortunate
