Why You SHOULD KILL The MOST RACIST ORC in Oblivion

- Ushnar gro-Shadborgob is deathly afraid of cats. He keeps a lot of dogs to keep cats away. Unfortunately, there is a Khajiit beggar, Bhisha, also in Crucible who likes dogs about as much as Ushnar hates cats. Seeing as how Bhisha is a cat and Ushnar surrounds himself with dogs, Ushnar has a real problem and he'd like you to take care of it by making Bhisha "disappear".

Hey, you made it this far! Thank you for watching, make sure to come back & say hi before you leave... its not safe to go alone...
BUT I LIKE DOGS! I love Ushnar's dogs! I just want to pet dogs!
Skinned dogs?
I think when he says “are you here to steal my breath“ it implies that he is allergic to cats, but has no understanding of what allergies are, given that this is medieval times, and he is crazy so he probably just thinks it’s a curse involving cats
That’s a really good take! Never would have thought of that.
I thought it was a reference to the old myth that Cats would suffocate babies but could be!
Dash is right. There's an old legend that stated that cats would steal the breath from babies, and that it was bad luck to have one in the house with an infant. The reality is that the cats would be found with their faces right up by the baby's mouth because the cat smelled the milk on the baby's breath. Seeing this freaked people out and led to the legend.
@@DarkLOREDash You are correct. OP is off by lightyears.
@@LaydiNite That, and if the cat weighed a lot, and the baby was small could have led to an unfortunate incident if the cat sat on the infant.
If you're a cat person, side with Bhisha.
If you're a dog person... still side with Bhisha. Ushnar replaces dogs like they're shoes, to be used and then quickly replaced when they wear out. Bhisha seemed more upset about the dog's death than he did.
Also, the uncomfortable implications that the Skinned Dog is his old dog that he just passes off when he's done with it-
Bhisha is an insane stalker though.
@@Mephilis78 Eh, at least he seems harmless, and pretty sure he'd no longer be a stalker if someone gave him a dog. If not, well, you know the rest. Besides: the whole place is full of crazies, yet only this orc kills ppl, IIRC.
So, yeah, I agree with him that siding with this khajiit is the way to go in both senses.
@@rautamiekka If only you could buy a dog from the same supplier as the orc
@@Mephilis78 everyone in the shivering isles are insane.
@@Mephilis78 i think Brishna is just a little bit simple dude.
I think it would be interesting if you could take your dog and give it to Bissha in Bliss if he's still alive
As a thank you? Would last 12 seconds but worth
@Dark LORE Dash no coverage of the Diablo 4 leaks?
The charm this game had, seeing it and hearing the soundtrack 👌
Oh the nostalgic memories of simpler times that games can remind us of In our pasts.
Poor Bisha, can't even get fellow dog people on his side.
This guy should take a trip to Elseweyr
He would implode
"Stop following me you smelly cat! What are they feeding you?"
Lol what Bhisha says when you convince him to move away is the most coherent line he ever speaks!
pls never stop making oblivion videos! I love to watch them! Oblivion is my favorite game of all time
po9op
Mine too!
@@DarkLOREDash hell yeah! awesome! :D
I'm normally happy to let sleeping dogs lie (heh) but seeing as how Ushnar is literally killing people just for being Khajit it seems wrong to let him get away with that.
I love that you cover the quests of Shivering Isles. The main game seems to get all the coverage so it’s awesome to see this side of my all time favourite game getting the love it deserves.
Thanks! I was looking up the darkest quests & realized just how good the DLC is
Best quest solution, be a wood elf, make friends with all animals you run across with beast speak, escape when that wears off, kill Ushnar. Done! - Me a person who has owned up to 5 cats at once
I've never played as a Khajiit. I should try it sometime.
Shivering Isles basically triples the fun and replay value of Oblivion. I always save it for the end of a playthrough as a reward for slogging through another 100% completion run. There's nothing like fighting the Gatekeeper at full strength and just toying with him.
Never realised how well-thought the quests in oblivion are. The different outcomes that happen by just little changes are just fascinating for me
Solution as God of madness. Cheese! Cheese for everyone!. Covering everyone in cheese till suffocation. And restart my shivering isle in a cheese filled utopia!
9:16 Good LORD woman get some bloody lozenges for that cough. XD
she's a hypochondriac, that cough is psychosomatic at best
Funny, Ushnar gro-Shadborgob doesn't have any special dialogue if you're both Sheogorath and a Khajiit.
Sickly Bernice cracks me tf up XD I can't even resist XD 🤣🤣🤣
I think that Bhisha is supposed to represent an innocent person with mental health issues, and that ushnar is racist and not understanding of this disability. In the way he speaks it sounds like he has special needs.
all of the denizens of the shivering isles are suffering from some form of mental health disorder, it is the nature of his, the MAD god, realm.
This has to be like the easiest moral dillemna I've ever seen, Ushnar is not only a menace to innocent people, hes a menace to himself; he literally can't appreciate the value in his own life because he spends every day in paranoia induced misery, even after bisha is dead. In normal modern day society we have systems and treatments in place to prevent people like this from being a danger to others and themselves which would normally be a preferable alternative. But Unless people are LYING about him commiting man slaughter there is no other choice than to put him down.
The only tragedy is the implication that his dog is buried with him (possibly even alive). But atleast the cycle of needless suffering STOPS there.
I didn't know Ushnar had all those unique lines, that's a really nice touch! Are there other characters like that?
YES! I didn't know if people cared but I can add them in the videos. For example Brithaur who we covered before just talks about stealing: Newcomers are entering the Shivering Isles. With new people comes new treasure!
They're saying that the Gatekeeper has been killed. Was it you? Did you do it? Did you get anything good from him?
The Resonator is fixed again. What a shame. I looked forward to meeting new people. They always have such nice things.
Thadon has his Chalice back. I wonder if he'll let me take a look at it....
I once met Herdir after a misunderstanding about some candlesticks in Syl's great hall. He's not a bad fellow, actually.
The Torch is relit. Wonderful. Just makes it a bit tougher to sneak around.
It's a shame Syl's gone. She didn't pay a lot of attention to what was going on.
Thadon gone.... I wonder if his quarters are still guarded.
Did you hear? The Fringe was attacked! How horrible!
The Gatekeeper has been rebuilt. I wonder if I could get a little piece of the old one.
The armies of Sheogorath march again!
Sheogorath is gone? If he is gone, then who is watching us?
Do you know the best part about the end of a war? Picking the bodies clean of their treasure.
@@DarkLOREDash Thanks. What I'm realizing is that while I tried to explore every location in the Shivering Isles I wasn't talking to its people enough. It's going to be a fun thing to do in my next playthrough. Roleplaying a crazy mage that attacks with nothing but AoE spells means that many NPCs are dead.
The irony of an orc being a racist 😂😂😂
Anyone can be racist.
*Watches video while cuddling a cat* 🐈
"Before anymore khajiit are hurt" he's literally had a khajiit following him for eternity, that one looks pretty healthy and uninjured.
Sense I ether play as a modded demon race or Khajiit. This now makes more sense to me why he never spoke to me.
12:47 his paranoia, well it’s justified look at the cat sneaking up on him there
I love your videos! I'm replaying vanilla oblivion (Xbox 1) right now
Thank you & I have been roaming around on Xbox too. What quest are you doing atm?
@@DarkLOREDash I don't have any of the dlcs (does the Xbox one version come with dlcs? I need to check) and I did a secret quest that my bf found (he's my pic, he found it all by himself!) on the Sea Tub Clarabella in Anvil where you stop illegal sheep smugglers. He killed the sheep and everyone started attacking him lol!
@@sweatergod5386 if you got it off gamepass yes it comes with dlc
"the question about this quest is if you are a dog or a cat lover", well, as both, I spare bisha and kill that a-hole of an orc, why?, he doesn't love dogs, he only has them around to repel cats, you notice the dog attacked the one with the dog food?, the poor thing is starved and ready to attack, while Bisha is kind and he really loves dogs, wish i could give him one of his own... at least that one would be taken good care for.
and thanks for sharing this video.
Kill A-Hole Orc, take his dog, and kitty and puppy live together happily.
i love your videos. they are like short films :D
Thank you, I am trying for that!
He has every right to stalk you
Goddamn it I can never kill bisha again
Well the first thing he said in the video was a fact. Khajiit are sneaky and furry.
"catastrophic" occurrence? You really went there? ok then. XD
Do Ushnar's dogs have anything like Dogmeat's ability to find weapons, ammo, etc.?
It’s so funny how an Orc is so scared of cats like Ushnar is
Always killed him
Khajiit are awesome
Ohne Dregg Alda Khajiit solln runder von mein Schifering Eils!!!
@@Myrrmoasta Khajiit Haidern ghört die Brügl nausgschmissn!!
idk about as a moral character killing him honestly just went with the bribe option mostly because it is the easiest option. From a moral perspective then well deeming someone as worth of death now that is extreme and harsh regardless of their character. I'd say if someone truly wanted to LARP as the ultimate good guy well then they would keep harming NPCs to as low of a level as possible.
A selfless and moral hero would get a dog from wherever Ushnar gets his, give that dog to Bhisha under the requirement that he has to move to Bliss.
That way neither the Orc nor the Khajiit are hurt, and both get their wish fulfilled.
ailurophobia is a tough one, im sure Sheogorath is proud of that one!
Bisha sounds like a sweatheart i love him
I wonder how he feels about the Skooma Cat
Wouldn't the correct terminology be Xenophobic? Because Khajiit and Argonians are essentially different species to the rest of the Human or Elf species. Camel Works has suggested that Argonians and Khajiit are suggested to be the only native species upon Tamriel. Xenophobic and Racist are similar but different I think they are. Your thoughts Dash?
Xenophobic means hatred of people from another country, so not particularly. It's more of an issue with culture than race, Japan is heavily xenophobic to the rest of the world irl but for the most part they are not racist. As we don't have other sentient species living on Earth with us that isn't human, we haven't really developed a word for a hatred of them, so racist would be the closest available term.
@@OdinDOUCS We do have other sentient species on Earth, humans aren't special in that regard. The word you're looking for is specist.
@@Laff700 Oh my bad! I got sentient mixed up with sapient, thanks for the correction lol
Oh and a mild edit, speciest is used for animals rather than what would be "beastfolk" so really we still have no term for it. I would just take it at face value from the Elder Scrolls itself since they are just called "other races"
@@OdinDOUCS Isn't everyone an animal?
@@Laff700 In a world where it's been made clear that the sapient races aren't exactly "animals" due to the favoritism and crafting by the Gods and Daedra specifically, not really? But it's subjective at that point.
Imagine youtube titles like this but spoken, like just talking normally and SUDDENLY YELLING and then back to JUST KIDDING
If you kill the orc the dog should just start following the cat around
I think the term xenophobic is more fitting
Nope. That refers to culture or nationality. The reason he hates Bhisa is not those.
@@shadenox8164 I thought it was also used in fiction for hating people of a different species as well I mean it sounds better than the stupid "speciesism" that vegan twats use against people who eat meat (which is why I refuse to use that word); in fact you look up what's the word for hating a different species the first word that comes up is xenophobia, and this is also what someone has said about it
"Well, this is getting a bit into anecdotal territory, but every Science Fiction piece I've read used "xenophobic" to describe those that hated other species. It may be that you need to further define "foreign." All you have to do is take the existing definitions, and extend "species" to the locality qualifier. This isn't unreasonable, and given that the whole idea is something we have not had to combat yet I find it entirely accurate.
- draeath"
Given all this I'll stick to Xenophobic
I find it funny that I sided with Ushnar, cause I am a dog person; I persuaded Bhisha to go to Bliss; and then sometime when I was randomly in Crucible, he somehow managed to kill himself right before my eyes (he somehow fall from up somewhere). I reloaded and left so he survives, but at the end he somehow killed himself again :D. It's like karma hits him into the grave, no matter what. Well, at least his dog survived and is now sitting on the streets of Crucible all the time.
leaving me to die in peace, eh?
Jezuz, Sickly Bernice sounds absolutely terrible.
Good voice acting I guess?
Commitment 🤣 I was a little taken aback
Why would I kill him? He's a fellow gamer.
based
I mean i always just gave the poor catman some money and tell him to go to bliss so he wont be mauled. Dont care for the orc, and id enjoy the hound if he wasnt so easily killed off.
If only we could give the hound to the khajiit
Ah man, why choose, we can surely love both right? Right? OK, cats over dogs then!
Is this guy Wilburgur? Sound very similar and both are from Australia
Can you give bisha the skinned dog for him to own?
There's a mod for that if you play on PC.
Spare, duh! Who cares if he has something against kajjit? He's free to believe whatever.
and as long as neither side starts a fight, they can just live on. Which means the best choice is not not interact with them and not do the quest in the first place.
No "Duh!" Khajiit doesnt Like it!
He's more a paranoic than a racist.
Can we get a full list of the mods you use for oblivion?
You say Ushnar is hunting down khajiit, but that's not what is shown. What we see is a guy with a fear of cats being stalked day in and day out by a cat, whom he has let live for gods know how long. Sure doesn't seem like he's seeking anyone out, least of all khajiit.
I feel like you're projecting some Hollywood notion of racism on to an Orc who's being tormented by Sheogorath. That khajiit could have been following him for hundreds of years, for all you know. Bhisha could be the very reason for his fear of cats in the first place.
Put yourself in his shoes, where some dude you don't know just follows you everywhere. Every single day. You can't shake him no matter what you do. When you talk to him he just rambles about his inappropriate attraction to your dog. There are horror games like this, you know.
Honestly, the muh racism thing makes this the worst vid this guy has ever done.
I love how white people always rise up to defend racists, fictional or real
Did you see the president he's still around I thought the stairs would get them for sure
i like ushnars dog :3
Video requires 1.25x speed.
Frontal lobe injuries make me sad.
I do the same thing. I like these videos, but he simply talks too slowly for me.
Frontal lobe injury?
Could you take the skined dog to the cat after the mission
Yeah he doesn't react unfortunately
Bethesda has way too much sympathy for a Khajiit that spent all his time harassing this one guy.
but he really likes the dog :D
Nah, the real issue is that they don't talk to each other. The orc could just ask why the khajiit is following him, but instead he only throws insults.
Um there's no sound
Did you try turning the volume up? That might help
@@morbid8110 my man is the real life version of M'aiq
Yeah it was max hold on
Yep it's my crap phone my bad love your videos tho can't wait to finish the LOK series
I'm a cat person.
Why is his other dog skinned? How are they alive? Are they undead?
Undead & only found in the Shivering Isles as enemies
Ah, thank you! I need to play Oblivion.
i always thought bisha was just so cute! he love him pubby..
0:50 sniff ;)

This seems pretty annoying if you're trying to 100% the Shivering Isles and your character's a Khajiit

Get reward from ushner, kill ushner give his dog to bisha and get best friends with him

Why does this guy sound like Wilburger?

All cuzz ushnar is afrade of cats and that compells him to want them gone dosent make him racist. In 2022 this would have been made into a woke quest lol
Nah. Some idiots would have found some reason to declare it woke more like.
