    And it's hilarious!

I miss mine. It had to go because of engine damage. 300km = 3l oil gone... 😖 but such a funny car to drive.
Edit: 2 years after this comment and 12 years after the last Marbella, I got myself another one and I love it... ✌

How do i get my hands on a beauty like this in america? I can only find these for sale on european websites.

@@barqbros oh man... I don't think they ever imported these cars to the US or any other country in america... I think, if you really want to get one, you have to buy it in europe. Would be the best to look for a car from Spain, Portugal or Italy. They don't have freezing winters and the cars aren't as rusted as the ones in germany, the netherlands, denmark and so on...

@@___Steinn___ A shame it never made it to America, I'm sure it's gonna be really easy to get one over considering how small and cheap it is. Thanks for your hasty response, my European friend.

@@barqbros At least, you got the Yugo in america. A car that i'd love to own one time. They're pretty rare in germany, where i live.

@@barqbros Well America is a first world country, these cars where made specifically for third world countries like the Netherlands. But i think you could easily import one, i always loved these cars, but never owned one.

A great video. A very different SEAT to today's company! Not many Marbella left anywhere in Europe!

What a lovely video. Over the past few years I've been wanting to do a roadtrip from the Netherlands to Marbella in a Seat Marbella, but for some reason the missus isn't as excited about the prospect as I am...

Really nice one. Your Marbella looks like my first one (except the lovely butterflies), it has the same white colour and the nice turquoise interrior too. I've driven it for two months, than I had lost the control at 70 kph, veered of the road into a 3m deep roadside ditch and hit the trunk of a tree. The Marbella performed quite well in that crash. I've just got minor scratches. Now the Marbella sits in my garage and is waiting for his recovery. Of course the car is an economic total loss, but that don't matter. I've collected parts and knowledge to bring the Marbella back on the road. Currently the white one is in good company with 6 other Marbellas and one Fiat Panda MK 1.
Thank you for the 3 minutes 40 good old memories.

I had one of the early versions, still with fiat logos everywhere, but a Seat as well, 4 speed, no 5th. It was dependable, strong and economical as hell, have to say I treated it badly and the car just didn't show fading in any way... Bought it with its inspections stickers showing more than 300.000kms, I guess the engine had to be rebuilt at some point as it didn't leak at all or drink oil either. I finally let it in the garage as I had the car before this one fixed and prefered it but, have to admit, it really was something well built.

The seat marbella was my first car when I past my test at 17 and still the car I had most fun with, my nan brought the car new then was passed down to my brother that was also his first car but he only drove it for 4 months then was given to me, I drove her for 1 year then she went to the scrap yard.
