George did a small show in Vernon NY in the mid 90's at the Vernon Downs horse racing track. During his entrance, my friend and I recognized him and cheered that a bigger name wrestler we knew of was there. He came over, slid the bicycle rack barriers open, and let us walk with him to the ring. I'll never forget that. Brett might have issues with him and I always loved Brett as a kid, but I will always think fondly of George and what he did that day for me as a little kid.
