I thought the Cadaver Rite release was great for that style of metal. No idea why someone would ask J dawgs opinion on it and expect anything else tho. He's said repeatedly he doesn't like raw black metal.

Black metal isn't about catchiness or sing a longs, it's supposed to be the antithesis of conventional metal and music in general.
Death metal isnt about catchiness or sing a longs either but he seems to think it is for some reason. Brutal death metal isnt "catchy" and you cant sing a long to it. Thats what melodic death metal is supposed to be but thats a separate subgenre.

@@Chaz4543I find Brutal Death Metal the catchiest Death Metal. Melodic Death Metal gets on my nerves. It sounds like Nu Metal to me, scratchy Vocals, wankfest guitar solos, and really unskilled attempts at Melodic Vocals. If I want to hear Melodic music, Mercyful Fate, Judas Priest, and Accept are 1000 times better than Arch Enemy etc.

Cadaver Rite fucking rules, easily some of the bleakest and uncompromising BM I’ve heard in years. The entire RAM Propaganda Crew are a very welcome and sorely needed addition to extreme music. Some of the coolest and most talented guys I’ve ever met.

Most metalheads I've met are assholes, but then again, that's most people in general... and that was BEFORE the plandemic, so.. the whole "metalheads are nice people" was always funny to me, just because it ended up being the complete opposite reactions for me. I stay away from people.
Varg Vikernes said he'd rather go back to prison than hang out with a bunch of Metalheads. Sometimes I think I agree with him lol
@@robertg305 Varg's pretty based on a lot of his views in his past vids when Thulean Perspective was still around. Say what you will about his past actions and whatnot, but the dude's got some wisdom about him.
Most metalheads are also kids who are popular enough to have their own clique which I never was apart of and was ultimately disowned (especially in school). Older metalheads just looked down at me and thought I was a shrimp, so there was no "friendship" to be had, therefore, I keep to myself and basically have distanced myself from the metal scene. I still love the music, but don't care to be around the people.
