Ok, fair statement in 2024, but 2009 and earlier was a much different time... 'downloading' p0*n and storing it on a local harddrive was still very much the norm back then.

If he was guilty he’d be in jail. I know a girl in Washington whose boyfriend got charged with exactly the same thing and went to prison for 7 years. You don’t slip through the system with these charges.

I store p0*n because if there's a video I like, I'll keep it around. Especially if I don't remember the title of the video. P0*n sites have literally hundreds of millions of videos. Even if I do remember the video title and want to see it again, there's no guarantee that the video will still be there. For example, I have two great videos on my hard-drive that I know for a fact got deleted on the site. I have a very specific taste when it comes to p0*n. So here I am in 2025 still saving videos.
So he accidentally uploaded CP that he accidentally had on his computer? Okay, bro.

So you know for absolute sure he had c.p, you saw it with your own eyes? No, you just read it on the same “news” sites that will fuck anyone over. Plus, anyone can make allegations, they don’t have to be correct to then be reported as “fact”. People just love to judge others as it deflects from their own inadequacy.
He explained everything in detail, honestly and bravely, which finally satisfied me. The most important thing is that he didn't hurt anyone, so we should stop worrying about the inflated article written by envious people. He is a magnificent, talented artist and a great person, and that's what we should focus on. We are here for his music, not to constantly judge his past.

It's a bunch of BS. He never should have had files. But there is enough free porn online, no need to download anything. But I think the existence of files is what led to suspicion, but there was nothing found that was a crime. That's how it sounds to me. He wasn't going to Asia and producing underage material. And the term CP could mean 17yr olds at the beach, or babies raped. They didn't have anything.

He has. His first public statement was aggressively reassuring his fans he was never *that*

He essentially said that without saying it because, if you’ve seen the RAUTA interview, he explains explicitly stating things like that is a very bad idea, which he’s right.
That’s something nobody understands. Dagon is a “public figure” with “public enemies”. He has to be very careful what he says

Haha yes, that was painful. He is not a good liar. I don’t think he was 100% guilty but he clearly did something wrong and I just wish he was more truthful, the interview left me with way more confusion

I definitely noticed as well, he gives some tells that he is not being entirely truthful. Didn’t find his explanation convincing at all, left me with way more confusion
‘Not everything in the report was true’. So basically he is saying most of it was true, otherwise he would say he’s innocent, and then again he wouldn’t have pleaded guilty. There was definitely content on his pc that was plainly wrong, maybe not as much as was claimed in the media but for him this makes it seem like it was ok.

I think what he said was he uploaded band related content somewhere and there were porno files in it by accident, and then his computer's scanning system interpreted the files as CP because there were Asian ladies in some of them...

You can point out the fact that he's sort of beating around the bush but if you know about these cases legally he can only say certain things and not speak directly about s*** right now because any wrong word can cause more s*** to happen. I have always loved dagon as an artist I sure hope he is legit. No pedophile is a good enough musician for me to keep listening to them after that

It's not the same as a religious cult, Einstein. In entertainment it means a group of fans that are diehards. They never get tired of listening to or watching things they love. It applies to music, movies, plays and tv shows. The Rocky Horror Show is a good example of cult following. And apparently so are Inquisition.
Theres always top 40 with grammys. Try someone like Ghost or Baby Metal. Never worry about 'cult following' again. Maybe Ayler Sift (sorry, spelling.) just a suggestion! 😊
