Yay! How fun. Thank you for sharing! We will be doing a couple’s vacation soon! How was it driving at night? I am wondering if it’s very dark or if the roads have a lot of street lights? We are planning to stay in Costa del Sol, but will be visiting El Tunco, so I wondered about the drive back at night.
You’ll find the streets well illuminated near the towns and cities, and dark in between, on rural areas, but you should be fine. Just proceed with caution. I remember there’s a few speed bumps you’ll need to keep an eye for that come out of nowhere 😅

@@living-the-life thanks! will do any other tips you can give first traveler to el savador? i want to go beach near and eat some cocktail shrimp. how can i get to beaches? bus, taxi, uber, lyft? thanks in advance!
@virtualtour4u85 - there are several ways. For me the best option is to rent a car, because I could drive anywhere anytime. Uber is available and cheap, but only in the cities, it’s harder getting Uber outside cities. The best map to navigate the is the “Waze App”. I would recommend getting an international data package from your phone company. I would recommend visiting “La Libertad” there are plenty of ocean front restaurants with great seafood. El Zonte, El Tunco, all great places to visit. If you travel with a big group Airbnb is better/cheaper. If you travel with 4 or less, a hotel would be easier. “Betos” is a great restaurant in La Libertad. Excelent food with great views. For tourists is best to only drink bottled water. Best time to visit is from November to February. It gets hotter and rainy the rest of the year. You would have a good time any time a year, but just prepare for hot weather. Sunblock and mosquito repellent will help too. Eating out can be very inexpensive if you go to local spots, but there’s also fancy restaurants where you can expect to pay as much as you would in the USA. Prices on the menu include tax. Tips at restaurants are welcomed but not required in several places. If you don’t speak Spanish, try leaning the basic things. English is only spoken in very touristy places. You’ll need some cash at the airport. El Salvador has become very safe. You don’t have to be worried about pickpockets or anything like that.
Thank you! Generally speaking, you don't need to worry about safety in El Salvador. I'd say renting a car is the best way of getting around ( if you're planning on moving around often ) You can pick it up at the airport and return it there. Download the Waze app, for driving directions, but make sure you have an international data available on your phone. Avoid the rush hour if you're visiting San Salvador, or other major cities. Keep your eyes open for pedestrians, speed bumps, and animals crossing the road. Also, street signage is not always available, but as long as you're alert, you'll be fine. Now, if you're planning on staying on the same place most of the time, a taxi ride would work. Uber is also available ( and inexpensive ) but they only work in the main cities. For tourists, I don't recommend public transportation, unless you really want to save money and don't mind taking longer. I hope this helps.
WELCOME 🤗 TO EL SALVADOR ❤❤❤❤SALVADOREANS GIVE YOU THE WARMEST WELCOME 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

It is truly a magical place. My family wants to go back as well. So much to see and explore.
stupid question but is it okay to bring US dollars? planning to travel there for a week.
You won’t have to exchange any money. The US Dollar is the local currency
Credit cards also widely accepted
Bring cash for tips, parking, street vendors, etc

Thank you for watching 👋🏼
Is the water safe?
Costa del Sol is safer, since it's not a rocky beach. You'd have to be careful in El Tunco.
🎉🎉🎉
Thank you for watching 👍🏼
Are you survible?
Hello bro, what kind camera you used ?
Most of it is was filled with just an iPhone 14
I also have a drone, a GoPro and now a 360 camera
