I am from El Salvador, but I have lived in Canada for 40 years and this year when I went to El Salvador for a two-month trip and the first time I went to the supermarket I had the same experience as you; I had not weighed neither the fruits nor the vegetables; but the cashier didn't complain, instead, he took everything and went back to the produce section and weighed everything for me. As you, I didn't know that I had to do that beforehand. That was so kind!!
I had no idea you’re supposed to do that! But than again I never visit the supermarket 😂😂 so that might explain it and like you I have live 40 yrs im USA 🇺🇸 but I love going to El Salvador 🇸🇻 specially now that it’s save

Things i don't like from our country. 1. The traffic 2. when it is too warm. 3. When the people don't take care of nature. The rest I love our country a lot. Nice video 😊👍
I’m surprised that u mentioned the time zone issue I was raised in ES and my family always taught me to be responsible and always on time better early then late. By the way you’re not the first one that raises that issue. Surprised. Glad you’re in my country.

Hey there! Great content! I'll definitely check out more of your videos! One quick thing about the "salvadorean timezone": Although this could seem funny or just something peculiar, it could actually be a rather serious concern for those moving to El Salvador and doing business for example. Part of the salvadorean timezone is a total lack of sense of urgency and respect for other people's time and that is a big problem I have experienced personally when conducting even basic transactions there. It is a common thing to bump into people that simply don't show up as agreed, ridiculously late or simply don't show up at all without the courtesy to let you know they won't be able to make it. This is unfortunately a reality that foreigners or even Salvadoreans living abroad and moving to El Salvador need to be aware of and kind of ready to expect or it will drive you nuts for a couple of years until you learn to accept that is just how they are.
It really depends on your priorities. Are you looking for amenities, nature, and peace? Do you need a good school nearby, or do you want to walk on the beach every day? Feel free to email us if you want to share more details or have more questions!
We also have a Telegram group! While our Facebook group has plenty of real estate listings, the Telegram group is perfect for connecting with the community and learning how to get the best out of El Salvador. -Francesco
Hey, Victoria! We have been on the beach in San Blas, in a condo called Paseo Del Prado in Apopa, and now we are in the city. All three locations offer very different climates, lifestyles, costs, perks, challenges, and pros and cons. It all depends on what’s important to you and what trade-offs you are willing to make. I think any city, smart or not, is currently flooded with EMFs. Just look at how many cell towers are everywhere. Where do you live by way? Planning on visiting El Salvador?
People in Arab countries are impatient, stressed out and short tempered, especially the ones from the following countries: Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia (my nationality), Libya, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, united Arab emirates, Iraq, Syria, Palestine and Jordan.
