Hello Luke!! This episode is not only informative but also Interesting !!!!! I get motivated thanks to your great podcast!! Brilliant!!!!! My English still needs improvement, but I will make it!! Stay safe sir. We all are looking forward to enjoying your nice work.
Watching this podcast was a delight! I learned and had a lot of fun! Fantastic idea, with a phenomenal wealth of details! Your interpretations are very funny, and with them we were able to clearly see how the facts "present themselves" depending on who reports them and what language is used! Thank you Luke
Wow! It's truly a remarkable source of entertainment to immerse oneself in such diverse styles of English. Just for the sake of amusement, I inserted the prompt "A summer day written in a ....'s style." The first attempt took on a Shakespearean tone, resulting in a lovely sonnet that I yearned to commit to memory. The subsequent Dickensian piece showcased a magnificent art of storytelling, reminiscent of the works of Charles Dickens himself. If you were to search diligently, you might stumble upon a similar passage in any of his beloved novels, ranging from "Barnaby Rudge" to "Martin Chuzzlewit" and beyond, including the timeless "Pickwick Papers." The Roald Dahl-inspired composition captured the essence of his unique writing style flawlessly. I adored it. Lastly, the Le Carré style, despite the cheerful backdrop of a summer day, transported us into an atmosphere brimming with thrilling espionage and the anticipation of unfolding drama.
Great episode! I'm amazed you came up with so many styles, including those that would not be a normal car accident report. As for Tolkien, now we know why it's good that newspaper articles aren't in Tolkien style.
