No sure if you mentioned this . But at the start of the track there is the pizza and the burger depending on which 1st place driver drives through which 1 changes the boost pad locations . Therefore going through the burger would help you with the long jump shortcut . Likewise the pizza could help you in other situations . a whole lotta strategy. Hopefully this helped !

Nicely done! Fingers are going to hurt badly soon. Velo times will take some time for sure but i find this more entertaining than online races. It is frustrating but the feeling of overcoming the challenge is so rewarding that makes it really worth it. Good luck with the series. Im putting myself under torture too.

I wish I had video of it, because I lost that cup and he won, and I thought it was going to be released this GP. It's a space skin with a laser gun a lot like what the Nitro Squad got for this GP, and he shoots it a few times and then it blows him back and his face winds up distended and he has to fix it. The other skin looked like a Crunch robot skin, but I didn't get to see any animations for that one.
When I was doing the Velo trials, I decided to put my own ghosts in as well. I ended up not only beating Velo but also a vast majority of my ghosts. I haven't played some of these tracks in months and I feel like I've improved a lot.

I've got the Ultimate Flex Setup: - Digital N.Tropy - Platinum Paint Job - Velo Champion Decal The Velo trials are much easier than they seem, I was able to do 80% of them on my first try, including Dragon Mines.
Yeah Oxide on this track was surprisingly easy, Oxide on Gingerbread Joyride gave me way more shit than this. But goddamn, I can't do any of the Velo time trials, not a single one yet and I think I'm gonna throw in the towel.
@@lennydickson8845 Well believe it or not, Drive-Thru danger is one of the only three tracks I've beaten Velo on. I'm not saying it's an easy track though, just that Oxide and Velo go easy on you here, Velo even falls off the track at some point.

If you can Uturn on Dragon mines your reet and outta time with that annoying 1st fence if you miss time that you gotta restart :/. Just an fyi, the last sharp turn before the jump pad. If you drop down after that last bit of railing at the top it cuts that last turn out! I've beat every ghost with it! It over laps a bit and you can just air break down
So I know you probably know more about this track, but theres some subtleties to it that may help. So when you're approaching the first major shortcut, instead of following the path, if you have blue fire just jump over the gaps and avoid losing the fire and hit the actual shortcut more easily. Always go pizza because it makes hitting the shortcuts easier. The last big loop of the track can be skipped by jumping it and uturning. Also it doesnt matter if you take the over pass or under pass. Tale the underpass if you think you may lose your reserves otherwise dont bother.
This track is absolutely ridiculous but in a good way. btw you can jump across that downwards loop right before the last turbo pad jump, I doubt Velo's trial will be tough if you can clear that jump in all three laps because it probably shaves off at least 3 seconds or so.
Lewis, you can use the pizza boosts to do that 1st shortcut it kinda makes it easier If you don't need to do that, you can skip that entire last U-turn by jumping off of the top

Defeated both Oxide and Velo's Ghost an hour ago through Drive-Thru Danger and boy do I hate the twisty tracks in this game. Really throws off your perception when drifting and turning corners. Oxide Station is gonna be a real grind fest :(
I think this track will become my favorite because of how technical it is. I mastered electron avenue because of ring rally so I can't wait to master DTD !
6:26 if you u-turn to the left off the track here you can fall onto the next portion of the track and cut out the slightly longer loop the track wants you to take.
Just for warning, deep sea driving Velo is a complete ball ache, took me like 13 tries. And that's every Velo time done for me, deep sea driving is still the worst so be prepared
I beat all of the main Oxide times. And now when the player beats all the Oxide Trials, they get the Champion Kart. Problem: I didn’t GET the kart. I’m assuming this has to do with the fact that I did it in the past, or maybe I have to do the Grand Prix courses.
I'm just spit balling here.. But here's a idea they should've made teams on Toxic Burger and Nuclear Pizza and whoever has the most nitro at the end of grand prix the winning team wins 10,000 wumpa coins or some shit

This track is CTR's own Rainbow Road. Twisty turns, few barriers and skillcuts that are tricky to make.
You get a champion decal like oxides when you complete all of velos trials! It took me about 6 hours to complete all of them! The decal is cool!
