I’m at an internship for physical therapy working full time for free watching this on my lunch break, dying to play this Grand Prix right now! I got an hour drive home and can’t leave until 6:00! 😩
If you intend on getting the skins, paints and wheels, ALWAYS go for the bundles. You pay less and get some stickers as a bonus.
Only buy the individual itens if you don't intend on having one (or more) of those 3 categories.
Mega mix will definetly be my main character for this month.
I think im the only one whos favourite new skin is cocos, it looks absolutely badass

As someone who plays a ton of this game, You don't need to U-turn on Megamix Mania. If you take the turns from the outside, as you probably should, you'll be golden. And truthfully, -you don't ever need to U-turn in any track,- Correction: You don't need to U-turn on any track besides 'Turbo Track' (good god, air-braking those turns...)(and the newly added drive-thru danger), though if you don't, then you'll have to do that break-in-air thing, which I personally do. I do that, simply because I suck at U-turning and end up sliding into the wall half the time.
So basically, U-turning isn't necessary, especially on this track, but I'd still recommend learning how to do it, it's so very useful... Namely for the end of Hot Air Skyway, fuck me is that a tight turn.
Megamix Mania is a very fun track, definitely top 3, possibly second favorite right behind Gingerbread Joyride, which I absolutely love the theme of- I mean, the theme of this track is fantastically done as well. Megamix mania isn't too bad learning to keep the blue-flame, the hardest part is the first shortcut followed by the giant turbine blades. The shortcut is easy enough to get through, drifting up until the jump itself helps a lot with being at the right angle to not scrape the wall of the shortcut, but is not needed. The fans can be difficult to read so quickly, but they are slow enough _and_ forgiving enough to get a hang of, not like a certain _other_ track *Ahem* _Deap Sea Driving_ *Ahem*
As much as I love Gingerbread Joyride (and I do), boy was that difficult for me to master blue-flame. That first shortcut is a doozie, but as long as you get enough reserve, it ain't a problem, sometimes just not drifting is the best option. So if you can do that track, you can do this one.
And just to add, U-turning is super easy to learn. However, you really need to use the D-pad to get the most out of it. I play with the Analog stick, as I'm sure most do- it's awful with the sticks, you never feel like you can get used to the position. If you use the sticks, like me, then switch the the pad when needed, or stick to air-braking. Again, though, you probably won't get to the top of the leaderboard by only air-braking, but I don't care about that myself.
I didn't feel like playing CTR today, then UA-cam showed me your Oxide run of Gingerbread Joyride, which was inspiring. I ended up beating the Oxide time for Megamix Mania instead lol. I only need GJ and Spyro Circuit now! Keep up the good content
This Grand Prix reminds me of Mad Max but with Crash Bandicoot characters in it!
The WhiteWolfWarrior98 98 It definitely is. Tiny standing on his cart playing guitar is a reference to Fury Road as well as the ad says it’s a lovely day for a Grand Prix which is a quote from fury road also.
I know this video is a couple weeks old now but just chiming in to say that you can pull off the second shortcut without blue flame (or even big orange flame), there’s just quite a specific angle you need to hit in order to do so. If you drive along the path leading up to the shortcut against (i.e. making constant contact with) the left railing and then jump while turning hard to the left, you can make it even from stationary. It’s possible from the respawn point (from when you fail to make the jump) as well but it’s harder as you have to get the angle right. You have to hit the railing at the last moment to pull it off. (You probably don’t have to actually hit the railing but there doesn’t seem to be any sort of negative effect from doing so and it’s easier than trying to get the right angle whilst also dodging the railing).
I just went on time trail and practiced it until I could do it reasonably consistently. If you successfully make the jump, you can drive back off the edge into the gap and it’ll respawn you on the ramp before the shortcut so you can keep practicing.

New Pura's, Dingodile's are so damn good, Megamix one is I think the best skin in the game, overall great grand prix, one of the best

Just want to say, that shortcut jump does not require blue fire. It’s extremely hard without it, but I was able to do it without blue fire.
The rustland pure skin reminds me of Rachet and Clank

character of this track is a mix of bosses and the track is also mix of other tracks and games in a wasteland theme and its so cool you know in postapocaliptic senarios houses and stuff are made by junk and leftover ruins this track is basically it but with crash games

Time Trial on MegaMix Mania wasn’t too difficult in my opinion. N. Tropy wasn’t too bad. Oxide, however took me two tries but manage to keep up with blue flame throughout the race. Overall, this map is pretty fun.

Healmore You mean Ripper Roo? That’s his map. But I think they should have gentlemen ripper too count for the Grand Prix because he’s so crazy it seems like he’s really prosper during this sort of world

Absolutely love the track
The track is easier than christmas in terms of time trial but it is more chaotic for actual races due to the mines abundance!
Still a fun track
For me this was much more harder than Gingerbread he makes almost no mistakes (and i was getting so unlucky with the invisible walls and reserves). In Gingerbread he makes a mistake in the second lap where he loses the blue flame quickly leaving you much more room for error.

Yes it is available offline too. The chance of getting golden wumpa in a race is very rare though

But it is a good time and I will have a chance at a new one for the first day in a couple days but I'm not going anywhere but I'm still waiting but I'm not sure how to do that though but it was just the last one to get the first one on my back to get it out and then it got me on my phone so it would have to do with my phone number then it got to me and I would be back to the game if it wasn't a game but it is still the best thing I've seen since I have been on a lot lately so I'm not going anywhere else but I'm still not going anywhere else to do it though but I'm sure that it will take some more than one for you and the team is a bit too far.

Its annoying in 2 ways (for me at least): 1 the freaking landmines... why just why and 2 the shortcuts and the ghosts themselves.
@@ianwhite4639 1. The Landmines are annoying, but they are avoidable when you just avoid them in last second and
2. The first Shortcut at the beginning is easy to get on but for the second you need USF to use it. So its though.
I like this Track, as I mentioned not the best Track, but nice too.
