FINALLY someone addresses the hollow parts on the barrel of the rifle! It was driving me crazy and it felt like other reviewers were glossing it over!
It really bothers me too. There's not even a reason why they're there.
Those may not really be hollow parts. It may be cooling ribbs on the barrel to help radiate heat when in full auto fire. A lot of heavy machine guns had ribbing of some type to act as radiators for long burst fire. Or it can be hollow parts. The anime lacks details in some areas and modelers "fill in" the gaps.
@@dariuszrutkowski420 No offense man, its hollow parts for the sake of half-assed. Just pause and look at the rifle at 2:39. If that was a real rifle you couldn't get any bullets through it. I honestly don't know what they were thinking. The cooling radiators is an interesting take on it though. As for me, I'm getting some filler and paint and doing my best to fix this.

And here is a CG render animation of a Lewis LMG that uses radiator fins in a cylinder ( seen on a crossection 0:35 - 0:50) ua-cam.com/video/oxbzMRVh6kg/v-deo.html. They may have made a take on the theme or they just f-ed up the part. Master grade liberties taken in the MS either work out great or they suck big time. The finns are near the muzzle of the rifle but looking closer there seem to be hollow parts behind them. Either way if it bothers the modeler he has a right to modify as he sees fit.

That pose on the box makes me think the Ginn has the power of god and anime on its side.
The Cattus Recoilless Rifle is going to be included with the MG Rey's Zaku Phantom, so there is one other GINN weapon. But otherwise, nothing else so far.
Which should be a crime.
@@TheKing-qz9wd Nobody would buy the Rey Zaku otherwise. What I want to know is when they take that bazooka runner, and the missile pod runners from the GINN, and release a full ballistic type Blue Frame Astray.

Ya know they could actually judt make a limited production version of that Phantom and have given a minor pack with the beam gun and the rocket launcher and stuff for he GINN.
Hell, when can I get a Guaze and GINN in the same style as the new Dagger L and Windam? I want that in my life.

@@MachineMindDesigns Nightingale is definitely bulky, but Penelope and Xi aren't, unlike Zaku III and Nightingale, Penelope and Xi articulation aren't hindered by their design

A fusion of both I guess. But to me it's *the* Zaku of CE. Wish they just give it the ZAKU Warrior torso in GSD and call it Hi-GINN.

Should've give it that ZAKU Warrior torso in GSD and call it GINN II or Hi-GINN. GuAIZ should've been ZAFT's redcoats mainstay unit in Destiny.

Like, I'd love an MG BuCUE or LaGOWE but that's obviously a whole other kettle of fish.

I think the ZAFT Frame will also work on a MG Dom Trooper.
Or CGUE, or DINN, or a couple of others. With some tweaks, this is basically a frame for every ZAFT grunt. By using the ZAKU frame on the GINN, they basically opened up the entire ZAFT grunt line, except for the pure ground types (BuCUE/LaGOWE).

Granted the hollow parts look more like aesthetics and not the cheapo kind
I feel like bandai is doing the ginn and Zaku warriors first as their the more iconic zaft grunts and then go into the gouf ignited and the cgue
Gouf Ignited will be p-bandai, and Heine colors only probably. If any other version comes out, it'll be Yzak's. CGUE, they could actually get some work out of. I can think of 3 variants they could make off of that. But here's the bigger question. DINN. When. Give me a MG shotgun, that isn't Kampfer's, immediately.

For the gaps on the barrel,I'm assuming that it was meant to represent some type of midway muzzle brake. To me it actually looks really cool,but to each their own.
I double checked a few screen shots from the wiki and the rifle isn't supposed to have those hollow spaces. But honestly I kinda like them anyway

I wonder if cutting out those center parts on the hollow barrel to make it like a huge muzzle flash piece it could work unless it just falls to pieces the minute you start cutting it.
This thing looks amazing despite the downsides, I will have to get it at some point. I need that Gremory though! 😅

What i hate about the weapon is that it looks like a beam weapon when it isn't. Makes me want to chop the hollow middle part off which would make it like a real life modern rifle with a muzzle break.

The CE *Zaku* , not that GSD one. Should've give it that new torso in GSD and call it Hi-GINN. The hollow barrel is aesthetics in my book at least.

I would love a mg bucue next, such a unique suit for Gundam. It’s not likely though. I would imagine a cgue or Guaz would be next (if their is a next...)

That gun...why the heck would they have hollow spots on a new mg kits weapon. I wont buy this until there is an alternative weapon set.
