I appreciate the info you give about the trails you are riding. It’s helping me pick out future rides as I expand farther out of the Lansing Michigan area.
Nice video. I found Hobbs to be a bit punishing on a hardtail. Lot's of chatter, especially on the burms. It is much nicer to ride it on FS trail bike and just send it. The new Limekiln is a hardtail dream trail though - can almost pump everything and hardly have to pedal on the new sections. So fast with nice rock poppers here and there.
@@MichianaMadman Weedpatch is awesome, but can be scary with an oncoming traffic. You almost have to purposely dial it back a little to have enough time and avoid head on collision.
Such a good beginner jump /flow trail! I wish they'd build another intermediate or advanced trail like hobbs...BC has so much unused potential for good DH oriented trails!
I love brown county I go there all the time cause I live super close by and I love it
I’m jealous!
@@MichianaMadman hey man just come back and keep ripin
Oh, I’m definitely coming back!
@@MichianaMadman mabey we'll meet up sometime
Make sure to say hello if you ever see me!
I get it now....
Sweet video! Im definitely gonna hit up this trail.
What’s your average speed ?,, nice ride there..👍
I was going rather slow in this video but you can really open it up and soar down the track.
Ah ok, I’m just getting idea . Thanks.
easily 15-20 mph. It is a super smooth trail. Pretty much a dirt sidewalk and the first part is all downhill!
That trail is now officially on my bucket list!
You would definitely love it!
Its a lot of fun

No problem! Glad that they are helping.
Awesome trail!
It was so much fun! Can’t wait to go back.
YOU SHOULD HAVE TOLD ME!! Although if this was over labor day weekend I was in the UP
Haha my bad! I actually was invited down and shown around by a friend. Glad he showed me what I’ve been missing.
Did you do some riding in the UP?
@@MichianaMadman I rode part of Marquette south trails and Copper Harbor over Labor Day weekend
Nice riding. What bike is that
Specialized Fuse

What do you think of Weedpatch?
@@MichianaMadman Weedpatch is awesome, but can be scary with an oncoming traffic. You almost have to purposely dial it back a little to have enough time and avoid head on collision.
That's very true thats one of my favorite trails in the park, even though it's a beginner
Not judging but are you riding your brakes or is it just really slow?
First time riding it so I definitely wasn’t opening up all the way.
This looks like a really nice MBT trail
It has so much flow and downhill action with only a touch of climbing. My type of trail! 😂

I agree! When I was down there, Limekiln had a “new section” being worked on.
@@MichianaMadman ooh! Thats exciting. Have you been to horns hill in ohio?
I haven’t... but I’ve seen your video and a few others. Looks awesome but I would need a full face to feel comfortable there.
There is a trail like that in the works this year!
Its a state park so they have to get permission to build trails. They should make some trails outside the state park
What is your camera setup?
I’m using the GoPro Hero 8 on a chest mount. The hero 8 (and the newer models) have great built in stabilization.
@@MichianaMadman they must because I almost thought it was going to be some form of a gimble
