Just did the 1st half of the trail yesterday. This trail seemed technical to me because I am new to mountain biking and it seemed if you got off the path you could slide far down the hill in some parts. I also got lost. Kept finding myself going out on Garner ST. I do have a bad sense of direction. Had the GoPro on so I may upload it to UA-cam. There were some cool parts that I did but do not see in your video. Not sure if they were new or you cut them out so your video was not to long.
I actually built those jumps 4-5 years ago, got the ok from the city to build stuff out there, a firefighter from laporte thinks he owns the trail, tore most of what we built down, what you road was the remaining dirt from the jumps we spent months building, I have been trying for years and have 40 people who would come out and shovel some challenging real jump lines out there but they won't do it. They sadly would rather support heroin users in laporte then support local outdoor activities, if you want some practice on some jumps that start off as small tables and work up to pretty large doubles reach out to me, we have a trail we keep quite in laporte that's a lot of fun, there are a couple good lines in portage some buddy's own also, judging by your riding I think they would challenge you but you would have fun on.
I really like how you get a little of everything with these trails. The Blessed Hell Ride is wild!

Wow, that is a real bummer.
I definitely would like to check out this unmarked trails.
Sad to read someone who works for the government would would destroy mountain bike trail.
