Would've liked to have seen the guitar and maybe have a Gibson Custom Shop Matt Heafy Signature limited run of 100 or something of the guitar signed by him. Those would sell out pretty quick and I'm sure Matt would love a few for the road.
He wouldnt do them, he's said multiple times he likes to keep them affordable for starters and the working class guitar player.
I'm your age and was striving to play like you and Adam Jones. Shoulder went bad and I can't play but son is 4th grade and starting cello this year and I'm showing him your music with how a cello can play modern music. Such a great bonding time. Thank you for 20 ish years

Your Dad rocks!!!! My first Gibson was a 1981 Sonex 180 custom. 2:30 God bless my mom. I ( I of course ) wanted a Les Paul. She made payments on this thing that I grew to love. Double dirty fingers , just a beast. I have four Les Paul's now and still have the beast. I'll die with it. Wow that’s really hot for the neck apparently Kirk and one of the Judas Priest guitarists used double 81s I like rolling the volume for the neck when there is one and having like the weakest pickup ever for that helps get a cleaner tone without pedals or controllers

my 1st epihpone les paul was in 2008 it was a prophecy then trade it for a gibson explorer worn cherry, held onto it for 10 year and then trade it towards a joe bonamassa signature standard les paul, then trade that towards a 2018 bluberry burst gibbo without the pick guard holes i must add and a Pelham blue deluxe gibbo Lp with the mini humbuckers. just also got a everly brothers j-180 acoustic aswell.
I remember when Trivium would shit on Gibson because Gibson support was so bad. Good to see Gibson has there shit together
so $1000 for a Gibson Les Paul back in 96 nice his is probably worth more than $5000 that’s about what the new ones are
