Alter Bridge's lead riff rifleman details the few pedals he needs for tour and unveils his new stompbox company.
PG’s John Bohlinger hung with Alter Bridge’s two-man guitar army, Mark Tremonti and Myles Kennedy, before their sold-out show at The Orpheum Theater in Memphis. Tremonti and Kennedy showcased some beautiful signature Paul Reed Smith guitars, as well as a not-yet-released PRS signature amp.

Wireless adds latency. Cables add capacitance, lowering treble. Different beasts
@@Ottophil At Mark's level he's going to use something like the Shure Axient, the latency would be less than 2ms.

It’s fun, but honestly when I want to hear the nerdy logistics of gear I prefer hearing from the tech because they’re the ones doing the work and figuring it all out.
Mark is a class act! Truly one of the best in the biz.

Wouldn’t long cables change the tone just as much if not more than a wireless unit?
Lol the irony is those 200 foot cables are effecting his tone WAY more than a decent wireless unit would.

Why he cover the pedal settings?
He has said many times that they aren't covered to hide anything... they are taped down so the settings don't get accidentally changed.

A wireless would actually make his tone consistent whereas a cable changes the tone as the length changes.
