I would - if I wouldn‘t own a Subsequent 37, which is somehow a grandchild of the Voyager. The S37 has a more bass-heavy basic sound, but its modulation capabilities are even more versatile. In any case I would prefer the Voyager to the Model D, which is too limited in many ways.
I love this synth but cant afford one so instead i ordered a behringer poly d, im just a hobbyist and think its the best option for my model d hankering ive had since 2004 and bidget. Yes it took me this long to make the plunge lol. When i wanted this blue edition in 2004 it was 3700 cdn, my poly d is 931 cdn taxes in currently. Hard to refuse that price for such an instrument.
I realise there is patch memory and that touch controller which make this synth even more awesome than your typical model d but im just happy being in the same ballpark as any version of the model d.
love the blue edition Voyager
maybe if all buttons would be blue + display, it would be awesome I guess
Would you still buy Voyager in 2024 and why? If not, what would you choose instead? 🤔
I love it, however I'd rather buy Arturia Matrixbrute for its dual filter, paraphony, sequencer and mod matrix

What is the knob on the right-hand side of the keybed for?
it controls the brightness of the blue LEDs
