Wow man! Im in awe! You must have at least 22 constitution, and a +10 to wisdom saving throws, because these awesome videos must take a hell of a lot of time to do. I don't know what else can I give, but have a view and a like (on every BG3 videos) from me.
Thanks I missed a few of these. If anyone is interested. You need speak with animals active. Before the dribbles the clown one you can break the lock on the displacer beasts cage so it can't join the fight. If you have the investigate the cage option. You can also feed the Dilo in the other cage meat (just have at least 4 meat in your inventory). You have to do it a few times and then speak to it after the fight for some interesting dialogue. I don't think there was a reward or anything though. I just thought it was cool.
Thanks for making this video, sometimes I get overwhelmed by this game and donno where to get some extra xp from so this very much came in handy. And you just made it is to watch and follow. Good on ya, cheers. (Also liked and subbed, keep up the good work)
I’m almost done with the game. I can’t wait to play it again. I missed so much!!! Your act 1 and 2 walkthroughs, are they done in the order they should be done in? I noticed this one is.
@@LukeCanWinawesome Im giving this a like and a follow I dont wanna miss anything cause wont be replaying this game again for a while cause so much coming out in the next 2 months
for the mystic carrion there is an easier way if you dont manage the lockpick. On the shore on the right from the locked door there is a wall that can be broken when percieved through that you enter the lab of the house and get some decent stuff. A ladder leads then up to the second floor
i don't know if we aggroed Thrumbo with attacks on the Bhaalists, but he appeared to be fighting on their side in the ambush in Bloomridge Park. It wasn't until after that we found Carrion, and we were forced to kill him...if i'm remembering correctly...i had no idea he was a Mummy Lord, and after learning that i'd missed out on this side quest, we went back and found him resurrected but alone, killed him again, and luckily stumbled upon his heart jar in the basement and destroyed it. XD
Luke, I was looking to try to find out the manner to use the Sharren Mirror of Loss process for the perma-buff using the Codex and Theys. Some channels say it's a bug and gone, orhers say it's here to stay??? Have you played that option through and was it worth the effort? Do you lose the Codex buff if you go for the permanent ability boost? Is it a reasonable trade-off? I understand if you don't answer; thats a shite-ton of information I am asking for. I HAVE BOTH BOOKS, Theys is locked forever and I have the ghouls, the Codex 20/20 buff. Would suck to lose them "just" for an abilitu buff??? Or am I totally not comprehensive game mechanics??
It's been a while since I did this so I don't recall but this is what I found online "Necromancy of Thay and Codex: Players who have read the "Necromancy of Thay" and acquired the "Forbidden Knowledge" condition can surrender this knowledge instead of an ability. This allows them to receive the +2 bonus even if they fail the prayer check. The Codex, on the other hand, is related to a different permanent buff called "Danse Macabre," which creates four ghouls to fight alongside the player. This buff comes with a curse that lowers Constitution by 5, but it can be removed with the "Remove Curse" spell while keeping the Danse Macabre ability"
@LukeCanWin which comes back around to (since we KEEP the ghouls no matter what) IS the +2 better than the 20/20?? My guess is the +2 exceeds the 20/20. As it sounds like the 20/20 gets wiped ... I will do a save, go back to the mirror and try the prayer at mirror and see what happens and hopefully be able to give both of us the information.
@@katiebea9258 if you 'offer a prayer' before doing the Religion check for the +2, AND get lucky or save scum, you'll get a random dialogue about 'disappointment' and Stelmane, and get an additional, permanent +1 CHA--for a total of a possible +3 from the mirror. (◑‿◐)
From many other guides, they told us to just kill that Devlish Ox at last light inn to get the Boon Ring. But I guess your one will have a much different ending.
Be wary that the devilish ox in act 3 may disappear if your party goes into lower city So it's best if we meet the ox as soon as we reach rivington It's possibly a bug because even if it disappears, our characters will speak as if it were there (if missed)
idk if I would recommend my builds to anyone they aren't super optimized lol I might sit down and think of a good build and do a video on it in the future though
Had trouble finding Mul. I do end up in the sewers but had to walk around a while fighting monsters underneath. Also, it is not completely crystal clear in this video where exactly the Guildhall is. No x,y coordinates. Had to wander around the city all over trying to find it.
When I broke Wyll's contract the quest "Rescue the Grand Duke" just ended. I tried to meet with Gortash first, witness the grand duke ceremony, talk to Gortash afterward, find out that the Duke didn't entirely lose himself, but the quest still ended. Does anyone know why?
I never found out that the duke didn’t entirely lose himself. But in two playthroughs, I spoke with mizora (once before and once after) the coronation. Both times I was able to free wyll and his father. The proposal mizora offers has a loophole l, but it’s a bit difficult to get that result.
The only way to see if you can save the Duke is to find him. I didn’t pay attention to the quest log if they state that the quest is completed or not. I think I convinced Wyll to free himself(without seeking power), told Duke Ravenguard’s Allies (who are angry for freein Wyll) that I plan on saving the duke and Wyll. I defeated Orin first then did the quest chain for the steel watchers.
@@bananaana1860 oh sh I thought I replied, sorry sorry. Yee the quest said completed but I could still save the Duke. When Omeluum told me that I need to save the Duke, the quest updated again
I've been following your walkthroughs step by step....up to the point you betrayed Dame Aylin to that imbecile Lorroakan. I get that your choices are your own but yeesh. Just the sound of that guy's voice makes makes his face one of the most punchable in Faerun. I question your overall wisdom now. What does having Lorroakan as an ally do for you that's so much better than ending him at Aylin's side?
Fair enough. I just dislike that guy so strongly. He's so condescending and from what I understand he doesn't even help you like he promises. Did he help your character in your game?
oh someone actually left the weird ox alone? idk i followed what the game was leading to and killed him in last light. the direction of this game is honestly so bad. you legit need a walkthru not to accidentally ruin the game. biggest negative of this game.
Why is it ruined? Are you incapable of loading a previous save or replaying? If you think the direction is bad that means you’re not looting/reading everything. I may miss a lot of side content but it’s almost impossible to get lost on the main quest.
I mean there is no right/wrong way to play the game (short of the game over options). Its suppose to be about choices and playing your own way. Just because you killed the ox doesnt mean it was the wrong way to play the game.
