Love how this song keeps lighting up this dark dark world. Yesterday they played at Barcelona and Madrid is coming finishing this Europe Tour, they surprised some fans playing "Night Night Burn" for the first time outside of Japan, what a nice gift for Spanish fans with this overseas premiere.🦊🤘❤️

I hoped they has played "Amore" in Milan last Friday, but they played Synco, one of my favs anyway. Yes, I know nothing to do with italiano music style, only because the title in italian.

I think most, if not all backing vocal parts by Moa and Momo are backing tracks, which doesn’t takes anything away from the performance, especially if you see how much they put into every single song performance wise ❤🤘🔥🦊
I believe this was the first time that Su called Momo's name. Thus, the crowd cheers in acknowledgment. This performance is one of my favourite because of little things like how happy/excited Momo is with her cute clapping her fingers together, or Su hugging Moa and Momo during her humming, or the whole venue participating fully with a sea of lights.
I was fully mesmerized when they played this in Toronto, and Moa came right to the edge, not even 10 feet away from me and looked me straight in the eye with her dimples on full blast singing Whoa oh oh with me. Before i knew it, the song was over, and i was wiping tears from my eyes.

It was Momo's first night as a full band member, the first show she wore a microphone. The day before, she was still an avenger, a stand in, not supposed to be too much on the front outside the actual choreograpghy. And it shows: When Su calls them closer, Momo at first keeps some distance, like she was used to. So Su has to give her an extra look, as if to say "You belong now, remember?", and only then does she close in. So sweet and touching!
great reaction BG-Metal, so yeah with all the ambient sounds going on in the music and layers of melodic background harmonies, not to mention the synthesizers, they really have the best backing track in the business, otherwise it would not be cost effective to have all the people it would take to recreate all of their sound Live , i am guessing that someday they will put on a full Live orchestra show and they will get a workout with all of the epic intros they do. And as far as the two Mo's go, I think they have the discretion to sing with the backing melodies probably depending on their physical activities, but when backing vocals are more prominent, you can clearly hear Moa and Momo.
"Woah ooh ooh! Woah oh oh oh ooh!" This is such a badass song. I wish more people could hear this song. It's so powerful. I feel that shit in my chest. I can't help but shed tears. Hell yeah!!!

When I saw them live, that part definitely sounded like it was on a backing track. Which is fine. Song still makes me a snot monster every time. XD 🤘🦊🤘
I love this performance. I got to see them on the Babyklok tour in Vancouver and the crowd was wild. I can never tell if some of the backup vocals are a backing track or an effect on the live mic. Or it could be live vocals along with a backing track, which is pretty common now days.
I can’t tell from this video but I’m pretty sure at the concert I saw, it was a combination of backing track and live. Mind you, I was pretty enraptured at the time so I may be wrong. I wonder if that part was enhanced in post production for the video release. Either way, it’s an amazing song and IMHO the stand out track on the album.
Nice reaction, very genuine. FYI: from what's I've read BM have hired Japan's top female drone racer to film their performances. And yeah, what a beautiful, powerful performance. The Clear NIght Concert was officially the night Momo became a full member of Babymetal adding extra poignancy to Su calling her by name. Momo seems like a real dear and has worked so hard for this spot.
Yes, the one flying the drones is the Japanese person at the world championships, she also makes a lot of drone videos, it's maybe her main job.

They just returned from hiatus since 2021, and performed once in January, then in April, this concert. Momo was announced as official 3rd the previous day which made Babymetal whole again since 2018. Su was also initially worried if the fan base would still be there upon their return. I think with everything combined and seeing all the lights in the audience, it truly hit Su emotionally. As it did much of the fans. 🥹

Hard to tell How much of the backing vocals are real or track. Both women are miced now and there are some places it is pretty clear they are live but a lot of times it is hard to tell. Could definitely be track or could be live with some effects.

I went to see them live multiple times this year, I've bought the merch at the shows and I bought the CDs and Blu-rays. Voted for them at online polls.
Yes, Babymetal has been using drones at these most recent big shows in Japan. They actually got the best they could find, the drone pilot is the Japanese representative at the world championships for drone flying.
5:38 she definitely did this on purpose ! This is the first full show day where Momometal is a new full member, so I think she made a point of it.
7:04 you can actually see Su-metal being emotional as well.
The last humming part she did always reminds me of Orbital - Halcyon On and On
This makes me wish drones would have been around back in 1994 when I saw Pink Floyd at Ohio Stadium.

I don't get why they used back tracking for Moa and Momo's part. We heard Moa sing it in the 1st Take version. Very odd decision. However it doesn't ruin it for me. Just odd. I love how Moa immediately looks for Momo for the group hug. Like come joins us! These girls are just too precious. 🤘🦊🤘
I think they use backing track and they sing it too, so they can have the choice to not sing it if they are tired or moving too much.
You are not wrong about the backing vocals, at the live show they sing them live with a pre recorded backing track behind them, with the DVD version they reduce the live feed and boost the pre recorded part for quality reasons, obviously they can't sing as well when they are jumping around on stage as they can standing still in a recording booth, but I can assure you at the live concert you can hear them clearly and it is live. on the very rare occasions when Su does lip sync she drops her mic from her mouth so there is no mistaking that it is not live. The same goes with the Kami Band during intros etc where it is pre recorded they do not mime or anything they will just stand there and wait till it is time for them to start playing.

Actually, Kamiband always appears on the video wall display at live Babymetal concerts, but it's only visible on the Blu Ray DVD. because what you see in Babymetal videos on UA-cam are mostly compilation videos from fancams. Maybe to avoid copyright

I think maybe it's because the choreo routines, or the mix is very low, the sound of their mics. It was the same with Monochrome at the first take, we can barely hear MOA and MOMO. It also happened in some old performances as well, they move to much so I think in this show would probably to preserve their energy, I also find cool they integrated the drum feel in the choreography btw 🦊🤘

Monochrome is my favorite song from the TOO album. And if you have free time you can see BM singing this song during their World Tour in Jakarta, almost the whole crowd sang along with Su and it was so beautiful that it made me want to cry when I was in the crowd :')
