@Nickelbackist meinLeben 😲 BBC Sherlock is the best one! I think the main difference for you may be the sarcasm that runs amok from Cumberbatch. Johnny Lee Miller is more reserved, but he's got the same bluntness. If he insults someone it's not anger aggressive. Lara Pulver as Irene Adler is razor sharp though.
Only minus of her - she appeared in only 4 episodes. After one episode in second season (with the little girl kidnapping) and once Natalie read out a letter to Joan in third season. After that - we never saw or heard her again. Which is very sad, she made the show 10 times more interesting
Surprisingly I am finding this version of Irene Adler played by Natalie Dormer more charming and witty than that in BBC. She should have played the character alongside Cumberbatch.

It was a twist making Adler/Moriarty a woman, and the same person. Kind of ruins the idea that Sherlock would ever have a pining for her, after he learns she murdered (had killed) thirty something people. One thing to always love a thief, another to love a mass murderer.

Elementary is hugely under rated and Dormer plays a fantastic Adler, a match for Holmes in more ways than one...
At least it did have a full run. It was not cancelled.
I feel that Irene didn't expect to enjoy Sherlocks company as much as she did. What started as a game became something a lot more.
That's the reason she didn't kill him
