Pretty weird texts... and in many other countries totally unthinkable that children's programs would talk about 'poop'.
These are Dutch language students of the BLC Dutch Summer School.
* Geitenbreier: there are a lot of different synonyms for the word 'geitenbreier'... In this video we mention: 'zeurpiet' and a boring grumpy person. But other synonyms are 'sukkel', 'lapswans', 'suf persoon'... etc. Originally it was a swear word, but later got a more positive connotation. Read more about 'geitenbreier' here:

That man must have spent years of his life having his day interrupted by grown men and women coming up to him and turning into 4-year olds, and he still always took the time to talk to every one of them like he actually was their funny uncle. The man is a legend.
Ik vrees dat wat de laatste dames opmerkten dat zoiets wel in de jaren 80 zou kunnen, maar nu niet meer net zo goed hier in NL van toepassing is. Vooral heel braaf binnen alle lijntjes blijven en niets raars zeggen of doen.
wel nee. kleuters komen allemaal in de fase waar ze het opeens leuk vinden om woorden als poep te gebruiken, giechelend, omdat ze weten dat je dat misschien niet zomaar zou moeten zeggen behalve als je naar de wc moet. daarom was dat ook zo´n succes bij Ome Willem. En ik denk dat het nog steeds zal werken.

Wat mensen vaak vergeten is dat er wel degelijk meer achter zat dan alleen het rare en het onsmakelijke. Ome Willem noemde een paar normale dingen waar de kinderen mee instemden, en dan iets bizars waar de kinderen tegen protesteerden. Zijn hier meisjes? Zijn hier jongens? Is hier een krokodil? (Neeee!!!). Bloemkool (met een papje)? Ijs met slagroom? Broodje poep? (Neeeee!!! Bah, ome Willem, dat is vies, ome Willem!)

You included. Get used to that. And yes, the Netherlands has many more narrow-minded people than ever, today, the extreme feeling of freedom is a bit hippy like. Accepting laws and rules is more normal than it used to be. The seventies, eighties were a special time. Remember?

I haven't used or heard the term "shit sandwich" for so long I had forgotten what it meant. I know a way of saying when everything is going bad, "everything is turning to shit." I imagine if your someone who has borrowed too much money and cannot make ends meet. Then you add family pressures due to all that then life could seem like a shit sandwich.

Ik vind het juist schijtirritant (no pun intended) dat iedereen met regenboog-drollen aan z'n telefoon loopt. Ik weet niet, het heeft iets super-kinderachtigs. Every sentence that is on the blue screen is translated by the students... They gradually translate/guess it. As that is the whole idea of the video, we don't give the translation in the beginning.
