Both are great mics. I have a slight preference for the Pure Tube, which performed beautifully in this video (BTW, these mics love your voice, especially the tube version).
@@jules7001 both the 640TS and the Pure Tube are incredible mics! It comes down to what you’re looking for in a mic and your use case. The 640TS gives you multiple polar patterns, high pass filter and a pad switch which gives you a lot of flexibility for recording different sources: vocals, guitars, drums etc… but it’s a FET style microphone. The Pure Tube is specifically intended to record vocals and it definitely gives you that tube warmth. However, it does not give you any extra features at all. If you’re planning to record multiple sources, I would go with the 640 TS and if you’re only going to record vocals, then I would go with the Pure Tube.
@@homestudioacademy Will go with the pure tube then. You have the 540 which is the 640 but without the special futures, but at less than 700 euro it’s not the price range I’m looking for. Thanks. You release your own music btw? Your voice sounds unique
@@jules7001 glad to help 😊 I don’t have the 540 but want to test in the future. Thanks! I had a cover song channel but haven’t touched in years. Planning to release some songs in the future.
@@jules7001 both are sensitive to background noise because they are condenser microphones and even thought both have a cardioid polar pattern which means they primarily pick up sound in the front and reject sound from the back, for best results, acoustic treatment is recommended. If you can’t acoustically treat your room, get the Waves NS1 noise suppressor plugin which works great.

Thank you for leaving a comment! I agree. Both are great mics 😊
Hey, just to say that I really enjoy hearing you sing ^^
Thank you so much! I’m glad you enjoyed the singing test 😊
For upgrading from the LCT 440 pure to professional vocal mic, would you recommend the 640 TS (FUT for 899 euro) or the Pure Tube? Great vid btw.

@@homestudioacademy Would you say the 640 has, in some cases, outside of polar patterns, an advantage over the pure tube in case of vocals?
@@jules7001 no, one is a FET style while the other is a Tube mic.
Does the pure tube have as good of rear rejection as the 440 pure has?

Pure tube sounds fuller, much rich in the mids and less harsh ...
Thanks for leaving a comment 😊 The Pure Tube is by far the best tube condenser mic I’ve ever used!
The tube is much warmer and sounds amazing!! The cheaper one sounds good too!
Both great sounding mics for sure! 👍 however, I think the Pure Tube has become one of my all time favorite mics 😊
Bro can say that what software you are using for recording vocals that are shown in this video please 🤔
I use Logic Pro
Pure tube
Thanks for sharing your thoughts and leaving a comment 😊
440 pure
Great mic for sure! 👍
@@homestudioacademy is it worth to buy 440 pure instead of 240 pro,
@@PODCASTSHALA in my opinion yes because of the included accessories and because the 440 Pure has a larger capsule which improves the sound quality. 👍
@@homestudioacademy thank you, you got a new subscriber
Brother please suggest me a Audio interface, my budget is 300 $.
I need it for Voice over and podcast only
