Have you had any reports/trouble with the the Bohning Cool Flex pulling out in targets or "thrown/separated" in heavy heads through bone? Or, would you recommend the GT Impact only for heavy hunting builds?
Well, looks like I should have read the above before I asked. I am looking for the ability to easily remove inserts right now as I work up arrows. (saving final length cutting in case it helps with final tune) Trying to just hobby hot melt for that lost me a couple inserts and heavy field points today...
We have had points pull out using the cool flex, but it is usually after the arrows have been shot a lot. When it happens to one arrow, I will usually remove the points from all the other arrows and re-glue them.
Used victory black glue last couple times. Have to try the goat tuff stuf. Didn't realize you had a channel. I just ordered the ax2 last Saturday.
