In todays Resin Art video we try urea again but this time on resin jewelry!
The Urea solution grows crazy crystals on the surfaces it is applied on creating insane effects for our resin art!
Whilst I still have a way to go with this, what a great resin art experiment! Definitely more to come on this soon!!

I almost asked that on his first resin/urea video. Try coloring the urea! After drying, encase it in more resin!

Fun video, thanks Dan! Love the second heart, the first one is fine but the second one is really fab. Looks like frozen glass or a frozen lake or something. The last couple with the black backing are also fabulous. The white one is subtle but nice. Always look forward to your videos.

I got it on its own, gotta say I agree with you. This lamp is a beast. It will handle even the toughest cure job. I got the teal version as I’m not really a purple person.

How about letting the crystal grow on a silicone mat, then attaching a clear resin oval to the crystal with a bit of UV resin? The urea crystal could maybe then be washed away, but leaving the texture behind. Could then color with some powders. Or could try the same thing but applying the powder to the crystal before attaching the resin shape.

I really like these! The one with the gold crystals is my favorite. It looks so regal! And the cabochon shapes really set of the effect. I wonder if some of that wow factor will be lost if done on a flat mold. 🤔
