Hi all, hope you enjoy this one, I will be filming a stencil version this week and also, a viewer mentioned that this should be named.... what should we call it? Suggestions below 😁🥰
Professor Dan's All The Rave Technique (Rave was a glue aka hairspray popular in the 80's.. And also because this is going to be "all the rave" for us that enjoy resin and the coolest techniques)😂❤❤❤
Another mind blowing project!! I wonder if u could use stencils. Spray them with the hairspray and hopefully have an image. I hope you will try this. Thanks for being such a treasure to this community

Daniel! You are so creative, you have once again blown my mind. I adore how you think out of the box. I can't even begin to comprehend what you might come up with next. WELL DONE!
I tried this out last night after watching you create. I didn't get enough design at first so I did a double dip. Chose a different section of color for the second layer and it looked much better. Then I decided to sand it & do the clear resin designs over that like another one of your super cool videos. You continue to inspire us!!
This genius technic that you have created Dan, is totally mind blowing and has given really beautiful results. My dull old moulds now have a new lease of life, yaay. Keep using that beautiful mind of yours Dan, it's amazing 😊❤
this is very cool... and made me think of some other ideas - I will play to see what happens, like you... when I play, sometimes the best ideas come to the surface. Thanks for sharing this video.
Hi Daniel, I love this new hack!! I am using pump hairspray instead of aerosol. I think it works just as well as the aerosol spray with better control. This new technique is so much fun. There is so much one can do with it. THANK YOU!!!
Instead of using a silicone mat, try a piece of no-wax butcher paper. You can get them in white and resin peels off of it easily. It’s very thin so will conform to the shape of whatever supports it so there’s the possibility of making gentle profiles or textures on the bottom. I haven’t personally tested it for UV light pass though but it’s so thin that I doubt it would have any trouble penetrating and curing bottom ant top at the same time if you have that capability. EDIT: I posted this without testing it first. The butcher paper is a great replacement for silicone mat when used to protect from spills etc, but the mica does not stick to the butcher paper as well as it does to silicone. The butcher paper also leaves a slightly matte finish. This makes it less effective for this technique since your end product will have a lesser effect and a matte finish. Daniel, let me know if you prefer this post to stay for information purposes or just be removed. In the future, I’ll test before posting.
@@fraudbuster1456 I don't think your post should be removed personally. You are throwing ideas out there, perhaps the end result you got was exactly what somebody was looking for or sparks another idea with different material... I love your post though. Awesome. The coaster is flat and glossy but the effect makes it look very textured. Simply amazing. Thankyou for sharing your experiments and knowledge with us.
You're right Daniel this would take hours using the raindrop technique but your method is deffo better as if you did do tiny tiny specs the raindrop way, I reckon no matter how careful you are when you brush on your powders or flakes you WILL inevitably also wipe off the tiniest resin drops, in fact I think you would lose a lot of them which would be so frustrating if you've just spent hours putting them all on.... You're THE MASTER inventor Mr C.... I love ALL your tutorials... xxx

Wow, that is amazing to watch, and the effects, are out of this world you have taken resin art to the next level you should give it a name. 💯% ingenious idea

Really good visual effect from the hair spray, I build model kits and we use hair spray for chipping effects ie rust and looks like you've discovered the reverse effect of hair spray chipping. I've been hooked to your channel since UA-cam recommended it and you are making some great content.
Daniel I love this!! I think this is better than the raindrop technique because this looks more organic and random! Love it and I will try it on the cabochons! I also love the coaster as well! Beautiful result!! Thank you! 😍 As for a suggestion, it reminds me of volanic rock like pumice.
I think a couple of them made me think of animal furs, like orange and black looked amazing together, just like a fur blend. Well done yet again. Hugs xxx Ann xxx
