    A Muslim girl once said to me that her covering up is like an oyster that covers a pearl. Only the one who truly finds her gets to experience her beauty. Everyone else just sees a shell.

      I thought it was only once they reached a certain age that they covered up.. and that age is usually 12-13. but it's only what I've observed from having Muslim neighbors. I'm not sure.. but the text says Muslim women, but they're saying "girl." idk if the same applies for both, or if it's just a variant in the way people practice. it would be curious to see if they could clarify.

      @Mistiquex 7 місяців тому +5

      @@jillybeangamingTrue the rule to need to cover for unknown non-related men applies around 12-13 of age, but dokters are a exception to that rule. This is what Islam says, but cultures influence too. So you have what i saw with Afrikans mostly that they begin to cover at literally age 4/5 their girls, but that's not needed in Islam at all.
      And then you have also some Muslims, like Turks who are more free in general. They or decide by themselves to close mostly around 16 ish to begin 20's, is what i noticed. Or they don't close at all Or they do it later when they get older. Girls who decide to close themselves around 13 does happen occasionally, but it's not that common.
      And then you have in very rural areas in the far east, where a different culture plays a role and some parents want their kids to close at 13, because everyone there does that, so if you daughter wouldn't do, it would embarres the family.
      But in the islam itself modesty against unrelated men is indeed 12/13.

It’s a Muslim country, so lots of women cover up in burqas/hijabs/niqab, etc. They wear thin and breathable garments and it protects them from sunburn and radiation. Your body adapts to it. Personally I dont do that, but I’m letting u know it’s successfully accomplished by millions of women

      @@mahockey3 Ok , that is a big difference in our culture and how we raised , its sickening's me to the stomach that you find it ok for your sister or wife to show her body for strangers , you are a man ( i think ) and you know what men think when they watch other women body , you don't feel Jealous at all ? i don't know what to say man but if i suggest to a woman in my country , my sister my wife or any one what she walk in the beach in only a short she will not consider me a man at all , men should feel Jealous , bro just forget religion forget culture forget everything , seriously you don't feel anything when your sister/wife walk naked in the beach ?
