      Thank you! I do have a question though, I converted to Islam last year and I've been working on wearing a hijab (I do know that once you decide to you're supposed to wear it whenever you go out, but it's been about 50/50 while trying to get my family used to it as well since they're mainly Christian and I'm the only one that's Muslim to my knowledge). Anyway, my question is that my chiropractor is male, along with his cousin and they'll frequently adjust my neck, even using a tool to help loosen the muscles, is it permissible to remove my hijab so they can do it (especially with the tool since it pulses at the base of my skull) since it's a procedure type thing? Mind you these men have seen my hair since I've seen them for years before becoming a Muslim.

      Thank you for making educational videos, it's always nice to get to know things directly from people who live it! I do have a question: is it necessary to cover your neck/chest too with an hijab or any other form of covering? For example with swimwear or something similar.

      What is modesty? The way I've heard it, women have to cover themselves so they don't "tempt" men. Is that really the purpose of hijab and long clothes?

    Two questions 🙋‍♀️
    1) are muslim women allowed to wear wigs? I mean it’s not their real hair.
    2) what do muslim women wear to a pool or a beach? Most swimsuits are skin tight and you wouldn’t want your niqab wet.

    • @hearts4u536
      @hearts4u536 2 роки тому +1

      1) no, wearing a wig does not count as a form of hijab as it still shows the neck and ears. the purpose of hijab isnt to simply just cover one’s hair, its for modesty, so wearing a wig would be pointless since it doesn’t fulfill that purpose
      2) there are hijabi options of swimming clothes which basically are more loose and have the caps attached to it to act as a hijab (you can search up online to see since im not the best at explaining)
      hopefully this cleared things up for you! :)

It would probably be very difficult to arrange an OR with only female staff, it might not even be possible and there's no way you'd be allowed to wear a hijab during major surgery. It would be a HUGE infection risk. NOT worth it, trust me. Same with emergency medical personell, no way you could just keep the hijab on, that could cause so many problems I don't even know where to begin. And they could never guarantee female only personell, even in the ER, that's completely unreasonable.

    I’m mostly against hijab due to how many women and girls are forced to wear them and grow up believing they have to- or they’re taught by husbands or fathers
    But this woman.. wants to wear it
    And I’m completely okay with that. I wouldn’t do it myself- mostly because I’m not Muslim. But she seems happy to wear it for her religion- and I’m all for that
