Anubus died because he was poisoned from an attack from Menasting, Falaris is a fire type and resists fire attacks so use a water type or use skill fruits to teach pals water attacks, you are going to need 116 pals to fully upgrade one pal so make multiple breeding pens. I typically have 3-4 pens per base.

The Steel scorpion is an extra ability. You should probably use it when Menasting can't get out of the AoE That glitch is what kept happening to me when I went for Grizzbolt. If you recall the pal when it glitches, then redeploy it, you can work around the glitch.
That seems to be the only way around it, very frustrating when it keeps happening, its also very frustrating when the enemies abilities go through the pillars
I've trolled you publicly, so now I owe you a public apology. Since being back in the game, I see your frustration. They have seriously broken the pathing. It honestly wasn't like that when I started. All of my everything is open and spaced out and it still says my Pals can't get to it. Like you, I don't understand. So, please accept my most humble apologies for cracking on you over the pathing. I stand corrected.
