Yeah, these builds aren't really for the pals, they're more for the player to enjoy as a cool looking base I could give it a try, see if I can make it twice the size so it is big enough for pals!

In the game options you can build at least 10 bases if you want , I currently have only 1 base but I plan building another one shortly just haven’t decided where exactly

​@@BigBossBam They're in one of the wildlife sanctuaries, north-east one if I remember right? Get them with Nocturnal passive and they work all night.

Will the pals eat out of the fridge? I've made a cooling feeding thingy now but the fridge is better?

My fingers are firmly crossed ☺️ I suspect the lawsuit will be dismissed, it's insane how Nintendo think they own the mechanic which is essentially throwing a trap at a creature to catch it

@BigBossBam well I would like to see palworld changing this mechanism. And not due to pokemon. The gameplay is different, palworld isn't very suitable for this mechanic. Maybe at first for the testing and the easy way to catch pals. But since its a survival game. I think palworld should come up with a different system. Something like researching the creatures when they are friendly or asleep. Catch them when you have enough research points on a pal. Gain research points by battling, petting, and researching about the pal. This will be more suitable and add a different feel to it. Make also exploring and fighting pals to be important to get your research levels up. And basically the only easy way to get pals without having to explore is to have enough research on the species and breed. Better than just throwing a ball. And then these pals could be summoned from your base basically, through some summoning device or something.

@lablabs3726 I like the idea of researching them! The viewing could be used for that, learn their strengths and weaknesses etc

@BigBossBam Yes, exactly. And the higher the research of a pal. You know best what food they prefer, what traits it's more common to get, and what are their weaknesses or what kind of pal they counter or are countered from. Also higher research could increase catch rate. So it makes sense to firstly battle and research enough before you try and catch them. And basically catching them means the pal chose to Come with you, and the game will start looking less violent and get a more realistic approach.
