My mom just purchased this car, from Sterling Mcall Lexus in Houston. I convinced her to get it. It is a fabulous car, I love it more than she does.

That button is Easy Access Mode. Lowers the vehicle when it is stopped and in park. Basically to make getting in and out of the vehicle easier.

Actually great after surgery. But better yet when you dogs get older. Pull up my sidewalk curb easy to step out. Also if you have anything your carrying on the top. Instead of having to take the items off to get in the garage. Drop it down then proceed into the garage no problem. Have a home in the mountains. Swear this happens every time. You clean your driveway to get out. Obvious someone cleaned there driveway pulled out. Every time you get back could be 40 minutes the snow plow blocks your driveway with plowed snow which is not remotely as soft of easy to shovel. You have to clear the end of your driveway to get back off the street. First time it happened I was in the LX450 which had the lower and upper button. Never dawned on me to raise the car to get over some of the snow. Let alone when I stupidly assumed the 4 wheel drive would just go over it. I got stuck. So shoveled the snow out. At this point we did not have any passing room. People had to wait for me to get my car out of the road. Which I made worse getting stuck on the snow plow burm. Never ever thought of raising the car. Now when it snows and you can see it is not the soft snow but from the snow plow. If I get stuck I can raise the car move a little snow pull forward. The 2003 did the lowering very slow you could barely notice it on the inside let alone on the outside. I am not use to people actually seeing it. The newest one does it faster a little jerky. I been doing if for years since knee surgery and one of my dogs older. But it surprised me when I lowered it. It is not as smooth anymore, but you don’t notice it after a few or two. But since using it consistently in the new car. You notice it when you don’t drop it.

They are all starting to get too much technology and the air ride suspensions. While not guaranteed to fail (especially from toyota) these parts are more likely to fail than the older, more analog models

9:44 That button lowers and raises the car. The height of the car is controlled with that button. It makes it easier for the driver to enter or go out of the car (lower mode)
for the driver side 4th button on the left . Its for easy entry and exit . The car lower itself when engine shut off so you can exit or re-entering easier. Once you drive off , it will go back to Normal height. 2018 owner!!!
Heated and cooled seats in the back seats in a car like this is pretty impressive even if it is an option

When showing the key you mentioned remote start free for a year with the app, you have it forever on the remote it self, hit the lock button 3 times but hold it down on the 3rd push and the car will start
Hi Michael. My understanding is that you can use the app or the fob for the year, but afterwards both are deactivated unless you pay for the subscription

My Friend’s Mom Has A 2018 Lexus LX 570 Three Row SUV In This Color. It Rides Very Smoothly.
Yes this is my dream, and favorite SUV! I shall and will definitely own this beautiful SUV in the future, just surprised for $90-$100,000 SUV there is no panoramic sunroof, I expect to that see one day, should’ve been a standard feature ages ago, can never go wrong with a Lexus!

You are very right. That has been my view all along and I'm thorn between the LC and the LC. I prefer the outer look of the LC but for interior, the LX is the one.

It could do a lot because well it has a lot. But older and needs some new blood. Lexus and Toyota should primarily share Chasis, engines and maybe transmission. But if not inner workings should be different. Ford figured it out with Lincoln. Great though y'all. Always superb.

A lot of new (and other long-time) vloggers put most of their effort into visuals to the detriment of writing, when in fact it should be the other way around, just like how you're doing it. This is a fantastic review of LX 570. Very lucid and precise ! It is good that LX comes in a 2 row seat trim. I think u can save over $5000 over the 3 row seat trim. My dream SUV :)

Such a gorgeous vehicle! Those headlight washers are neat as well. All vehicles should have those.
The design of the seats and the thickness of the cushion reminds me of 1970 and 80’s Cadillacs they are just like lazy boy sofas in my lounge.Lexus and Mercedes makes amazing seats Cadillac is also no exception.

I guess you’re a lx fan like me,because you have been in this vehicle for the fourth time.Ive experienced the lx570 ride and it’s beautiful interior there’s nothing like it such a beautiful and outstanding vehicle in fact all Toyota,Lexus Nissan and Infiniti products are amazing.The look of the lx blows my mind “predator” all suvs in its competition except for the Infiniti QX80 are crap in front of the lx.The lx in which I have been is my uncles and it’s an amazing suv predator spaceship,and I always call my uncle to take me for a ride.we live in Pakistan people use Range Rover,Land Cruiser and lx 570 as status symbol with a whole bunch of security guards behind them in pickup trucks like f-150,Toyota tundra and Chevy Silverado.
The QX80 sucks
Oh thank god lexus didn’t put the heated and cooled seats in the infotainment like they do in other models and I’m also happy they didn’t put it like under all the buttons really far up in the center console

The one thing that the LX has going for it: It is a highly-capable, impeccably constructed, reliable beast!
That said, for $100k, it is lacking in on the powertrain front, from a power and fuel-economy standpoint. 12MPG and near 7.0sec-to-60mph performance is not going to cut it. And although it is smaller than a Navi or Escalade, it weighs the same or more, likely due to the off-road and suspension hardware.
All of that said, this thing will hold good value and is unstoppable in it's class off-road(the Infiniti QX80 comes close due to it's Patrol-roots, and of course there is the Range Rover).
**Small caveat: The LX570 has a "pneumatic" hydraulic suspension system, a more robust and definitely more expensive setup than air suspension.
Flagship does not mean that only it has high quality materials,Lexus and Toyota has a very good quality check.

The AHC suspension is hydraulic, not pneumactic. Pneumatic is cheaper to produce which is why GM and Range Rover use it. Hydraulic is more expensive but it's much more robust.

Lexus Gx 460 and Lexus ls 570 which has the best ride quality which has the smoothest ride
For $100k car it should have LCD dash display and should be just 1 trim no additional bs. Now to the engineer and designer aspect. All compartment should have felt liner, phone now a day are 7” plus and getting bigger each year which should be standard atleast 8” opening. Rear vent control behind arm rest is dumb. If you have 3 person in middle row than what.

Wow i am astonished that the third row is not only not standard but costs $5,000
Lexus lx570 should upgrade with the captain chairs in the 2nd row it reall helps and the 2016 is the exact same like the 2021 lx 570
I feel like this is the first Lexus SUV in a while with a grill that actually goes well with the design but they still need to refresh the overall design

Im getting tired of the spool shaped front end. Very impressive vehicle. If Lexus dropped the price of this below 60 thousand they would sell at least twice as many. Enjoyed the review.
They don't need or even want to sell a ton here in the US, it's a halo car here and in some other markets but they make their numbers on base models all over the planet that are prized for their durability. Regarding the grille treatment i just read an article titled something like "Lexus doesn't care if you like them" or similar and said they want to be instantly recognized on the streets as a brand right now even over people loving their design or hating it. The focus is on brand building for visibility.
It means like top-tier model, flagship.
They don't have to drop it. You need to learn about tax write off's. You can damn near write off this whole car. That's why they price it so high.

Definitely needs a redesign. Also Lexus as a whole needs to create a whole new full size suv to properly compete with the Escalade and Navigator. It falls behind in features, cargo space, fuel economy, and passenger comfort but all offroaders kinda do. I really want to see a Lexus version of the Navigator because Lexus knows luxury but SUVs are a bit iffy

Nobody uses navigation in today’s era,very less people use the navigation.People only listen to songs or radio,you can hook your iPod with the navigation,don’t compare it with those crap suvs it has a class of its own the main competitor of the lx BTW is Range Rover,that also offers height adjustable air suspension and almost have some width and length dimensions.
In the US this vehicle has the same price as the land cruiser but in the Pjilippines this cost 190,000 USD while the land cruiser is at 85,000 USD. I dont even know how did it end up with that price they should be almost the same. In the end i ended up with the land cruiser as it just cheaper, i wont pay 100K more for a leather seats and a different body panel.

I don't know if it's just me.... but the Land Cruiser and LX's relationship reminds me so much of the Avalon and ES' as well...
...even though the Toyota counterparts somehow have the superior value strangely.
regardless, still a great SUV, and am hoping for an upcoming redesign. Same goes for the Land Cruiser.
Escalade,Lincoln Navigator,Audi q7 especially Range Rover are all garbage in front of the Lexus lx 570

The escalade, navigator, audi q7 interior will destroy this interior. This car doesn’t even come with a full digital cockpit, and lexus Infotainment system is very old and ugly graphics.

I love American cars as well my father had a 1988 Chevy caprice it was nothing less than a Land yacht.Than he showed me the car that featured in knight rider my father had a red firebird,then we also had two Toyota tundras one was 2007 limited and the other was 2010 platinum,the most best American car that I liked the most was Chevy caprice and Toyota Tundra.

The best SUV, good transmission and engine, exterior and interior is so good. Also electronics. 100% better then Cadillac or GMC, which is big engine and less horse power, just eats a gas, bad electronic and interior, bad suspension. So, definitely recommended

Ok so someone tell me...they went back to hydraulic steering for this luxury SUV...why? What makes it better that way instead of electric? What are the pros and cons of it having hydraulic instead of electric?
Hydraulic steering is a mechanical piece which should help overall reliability and it has better feedback from the surface, you can tell where the stearing will go unlike electric where the computer decides.
Same specs with LC but different pricing to stratify Social Classes by cost! Only major physical difference is the grille!
And air suspension, better quality of materials, automatic folding 3rd row and tailgate.

@@entreptiles air suspension is for smooth rides but excessive speeds on the highway easily damages air ride components and is not ideal esp over potholed or speed-humped roads. Many fairly new air-suspended vehicles get grounded cos of air leakages. So the LC still wins big both on-road and off-road.

Nope. We have very few diesels left in the U.S after the VW diesel-gate but we never had an LX one to start with
LX is a flagship, top-tier only model here so they won't release it with a rattle can engine despite massive demand from dedicated Toyota enthusiasts (and no, Toyota doesn't bring Land Cruiser in diesel for same reasons, those are still $86,000 US).

hello, everyone here says that this lexus needs to be better to compete against navigator or escalade, it is possible that nnavigator escalade have more technology, be wider inside, but lexus surpasses them in reliability, strength, durability, this car is as if they were two in one, this car can comfortably on the road, and if you want to go on vacation to the mountains you can do it without problems, something that the other two doubt that they do, lexus does not need to compete against them, this car has good sales and despite is more expensive than navigator and escalade, it is still selling well, I have lexus gx 460 2010 and only oil changes, my neighbor has a escalade of 2013 and has had many problems, not for pleasure lexus is the most reliable brand and has the best resale value
To add to this, the dealership experience at Lexus is one of the best. They really treat your like royalty when you walk in. Good luck getting anywhere near the same service at the Cadillac dealership, and you'll be spending a lot more time there too.
