One commenter said it's worthless for firewood. Need "high grade logs". I'm not sure which video he watched cuz to me it looked like a hell of a nice processor. All you'd need to do to cut knotty logs is use a little bit bigger cylinder on the hold down arm. Or even a little different configuration on the teeth maybe. One nice thing is you can run the most aggressive chain made and don't have to worry about a thing. Keep a few freshly sharpened chains with you and you could process a massive pile of firewood in an 8 hour day. You guys did like 5 or 6 cord in 3 hours!! That's impressive. And you only need one machine to do it. Heck yes.

I got one of these for my toolcat, but mines a 120. They are most certainly worth their price. It doesn’t matter what the weather is like or what time of day it is, I can split wood. These are more portable & easier to take deeper into the woods than tow behind processors. Of course they have their limitations, everything does. But the whole point of these are to make cutting & splitting 2x or 3x faster.

And that's why I'll stick to my pre emissions trucks and equipment. I can rebuild and maintain my older equipment cheaper than just the maintenance costs of a newer machine, not to mention the costs of downtime and they're more reliable. The only decent newer machine is a fully deleted machine and even that is somewhat questionable. Great video.

Now that's a awesome processor. When you can load, cut and split where ever you want makes the job alot easier. You just had to put a little fire behind the boys butt to get them to load the firewood. Guess it was cold where you guys are. But all in all it's a very good unit. Too bad the Cat broke down after just purchasing it. That would have pissed me off. Hope it's a quick fix,but I doubt it. However you n your team are well experienced on figuring it out. The wood processer looks like a great idea and as for the emissions on new mechine they suck I watch a lot of utube on dirt machines and it seems like they are all the time going Tits up and cost a lot of money and down time. 12/20/21; just watched you & 2 strong, clean cut youngsters man- handling/stacking firewood using Halvorson wood cutter/splitter. Hey, that Halvorson cutter combo 4-6 way splitter is neat! But seems to need some type of 'next-step' gizmo to receive splits & direct them into your(their) storage unit. I watch Outdoors with Morgans; they use WolfRidge splitter (no auto chain saw cutter on their unit) with conveyor, dump into large open pit. Then both you/sons with Halvorson & Morgans with WolfRidge must manually, physically, select/pickup, turn/twist & load your mobile storage baskets. So, is their a gizmo that can receive 'splits' & 'next-step' load these pieces...compactly/neatly into a receiver/basket? Clearly your Halvorson saves time as it combines log handling/pushing into next-step chainsaw cutting. That is sweet. So, is their a a next-step device that receives splits & put them ( neatly) into a storage basket? If not...maybe you can give yur 2 boys a project, aye? Design, cut/fit, tackweld...humm...then show it off on yur YT channel...boys get a little $$?? Enjoy yur videos. You work on some b I g toys!👀👍👍👍😊

How much does this attachment cost? A rick would be slang for a face cord and there's three face cords to cord.

Emissions are no problem! We need canola, hemp, or soy oil to run our Diesel engines on and you wouldn’t have to spend $10,000 extra for emissions per vehicle! Petroleum based diesel is why we have an emissions problem, change to plant based oils and delete emission components and the problems that come with them! Plus they have more lubrication than petroleum based fuel, so your engine lasts longer!

It seems your saw and table move much slower than the video from Halverson themselves. Are you just not throttled up all the way?
