The thing you have to really watch out for is that you don't let people steam roll you, and that you can assert your boundaries effectively when needed. Some of the toughest men I know, Vietnam vets, have seen and done things no ordinary person can process, but are the most thoughtful, rational, calm and gentle people I've ever been around. Not to forget how incredible the knockouts were at the time, when women wrestling was such an afterthought in the fed.

Triple H has a long history of holding down guys he felt threatened his spot.
This is definitely more relevant after the run Jericho has had in AEW where he pretty much has buried and made everyone he worked with come out looking worse than when they came in.
People always cheered RVD because he was a likeable character who always put in a strong performance and could wrestle with pretty much anyone. The fans recognized and appreciated his talent.

Vince destroyed the revamp of ECW. ECW will always be hardcore. The WWE ECW was soo watered down and honestly was boring
ECW also destroyed itself; they got surpassed by even more "hardcore" promotions like XPW, CZW, IWA-MS, etc.
The original ECW arena had even gotten bought out and renamed to The XPW Arena _(what it is, again today.)_
Paul Heyman is a sellout P.o.S. he contributed to the death of his own promotion; tainting its legacy, etc.
