Postosuchus may not be the best option for a pet, but another prehistoric Croc, Pakasuchus, would have been a much better option. They were extremely tiny, only reaching about 20 inches long, so you could probably walk them on a leash in the park.
Dinosaurs are such Prima Donnas, especially African Grey Parrots. Now to my breeding pair of Postosuchus. Yes they bond for life and must be within sight of each other, otherwise they fret. A fretful fretting Postosuchus is not ideal. But the great thing about them is their Trilling. It's a territorial thing. Dawn, dusk and sometimes around noon you'll hear their polysyllabic melodies sliding up and down the musical scales. Also when you feed them. Live animals. Only live animals. In this they're a bit fussy. Not even day old steaks. Sadly for my neighbours, screaming pigs aren't half as melodious....

My uncles own a pig farm, so I might get a discount on the pigs. I live on a large plot of land, so that's not a problem. My state isn't tooo strict on animal laws so I'd say it'd possibly be allowed with a permit. Now all I have to do is get a part time job after school and raise the $700-$900 dollars I still need, which many be lowered if my dad wants to get it too, which he would. I'd need to keep the job to feed my dino but it'd be worth it!
