- The 1/72 Academy Bf 109G-6 is a somewhat older kit which still can be turned into an acceptable model. Rudder and spinner have been replaced with items from the spares box.
Messerschmitt Bf 109G-6/R6, yellow 4, 3/JG300, Leutnant Manfred Dieterle, Luftwaffe (German Air Force), Bonn-Hangelar, Germany 1944

Very nice job! Congrats! Regards Mike
Thanks very much!
YOOOOO I LITERALLY JUST FINISHED MY ACADEMY 1/72 BF109 G14 but yours is totally better...
Nice! Will you put it online?
@@KitKabinet xD no its sucky
Looks absolutely stunning, beautiful work. Just purchased this model kit as I thought it might look cool fighting a 1/72 scale Tie fighter.
Thanks!
And a 109 vs a Tie fighter? That would surely make for an interesting dogfight!
Cheers
Yep, but in starwars universe, the Germans are the imperial navy though
Quel travail extraordinaire!! Splendide! une belle leçon de maîtrise.
Merci beaucoup! Vous me faites un peu timide avec ton compliment.. Content que vous l' aimez!
Which is the worse kit, Hasegawa or Academy Gustav? I have many Academy kits but never cared for their Bf109 series. I can`t believe Tamiya added this one to their warbird series. Hope the P-38 is next :)
At a quick glance, the main problem areas of the Academy kit (i.e. tail and nose) look a bit better on the Hase kit imho. Of course Tamiya has now vastly upped the game concerning accuracy and detail, with only the Finemolds kits coming even close.
@@KitKabinet Yeah i have some of the FineMold kits in addition to the Hasegawa ones. I have heard some say the Academy kit is a Hasegawa clone but i`m not really sure about that. I guess no need for the aftermarket world to make any improved bits for the Tamiya 109 G-6 ;-)
