Great educational and informative video. 👍 Actually I just gotta say, what an adorable cutie your daughter is! That's what being successful in life really is.
I'm pretty new to the whole quick-release tires I'm an old school BMX guy I was putting my new ebike together and lost one of the darn Springs I did install the wheel I haven't ridden it yet I'm assuming I should go get another cone spring it's probably not safe to ride with only one? Any advice would be great thank you very much very concise video dude
Honestly I don’t use the springs at all on my personal bikes. Usually toss them. Their sole purpose is to make it slightly easier to install the wheel, except I find they don’t really do that either. The most trouble you can get into is when they’re installed backwards.

Thanks Steve!

Hi inside the black colour closing but is there any metal nut?
Yes. The black part is just a plastic cover to the metal nut beneath.
If we get rid of the springs will there be mis alignment problems?
No. I usually get rid of them. Sorry about the last response, I thought you were referring to the brake springs.
