Smart tv, means you can play apps on it, not just tv. most modern computers and tvs can be used together via HDMI cable.

just ordered it myself. It has amazing customer rating, of only 3% negative, out of something like 35,000 ratings. It looks like an amazing tv for the price. Its going to be very hard to even see a difference, with tvs above this one anyways.
